Both chapters were very influential in developing maturity, accountability, and selflessness. Additionally, being the Treasurer of National Honor Society has given me the opportunity to take on a leadership role. Stepping

I personally love community service. One Sunday of every month, my church engages in Live the Sermon Sunday. On this Sunday, we focus on helping our neighbors in the community. The church opens a variety of stations that everyone can participate in, such as; yard work for the elderly, feeding the homeless, and even packing goodies for elementary schools. I enjoy packing cute stickers, colorful pencils, and yo-yos for students. What I enjoy most about packing goodies for students is that I’m totally anonymous to them. I don’t seek recognition, or anything in return. I care more about
I love to help as much as I can with anything possible. The biggest thing that i've done to help my whole community is donate blood. I love doing this because it can help anyone, since I have O- blood it can be donated to anyone. I always feel superior knowing I helped save a life and one day I know someone is going to help me. It's the whole giving and getting back thing because it's not about donation, it's about making a difference. My biggest self-importance is helping people either physically or mentally and this is one big way to help in both categories. The steps I took to accomplish this is focusing on the lives I may help and looking at the differences I can make may last a lifetime. I was inspired by learning in medical class that

“I want to be an officer of this chapter of NSCS, because I wholeheartedly believe in its goals and its pillars. I have met so many people at this university who have such engaging and giving characters. If I could create a place where these kinds of people could gather as a group and as a family, for the service of others, then I couldn’t ask anything more from the ‘college experience.’ ” This was a short excerpt from the speech I gave when I ran for and won the position of Vice President of Events in my chapter of NSCS. In order to succeed in college, it is important to pursue your personal ambitions with a family of friends who’ll work together with you. To me, service and being a volunteer have been integral parts of my life. Upon entering
