On September 11, 2017 I (Probationary Police Officer James Harris III, DSN 0513) manning vehicle 1422 received a call for a “Larceny from a building prior” at 315 Chestnut Street (Hyatt Regency Hotel); however, I was advised to contact the victim via phone. I contacted victim Mika Gould to inquired the information needed for this report and was advised of the following:
An 80,000 pound commercial or owner operator truck can cause a lot of harm when it rolls away untended. Such accidents have demolished the sides of buildings, killed bystanders, and caused traffic accidents when rigs roll into busy highways. The potential for harm is even greater for trucks hauling hazardous
Jody Doyle has been involved in cattle and tree farming his entire life. He lives in the small town of Saffell, Arkansas just down the road from his cattle farm. Jody runs about 100 head of cattle give or take. When working with his tree farming business (co-owner of Eddie Doyle and Son Trucking) he is the tree cutter. He makes sure that every tree he cuts down is marked by the landowner.
There is a good reason why a clean driving record is important for finding work in the trucking industry: trucking is a dangerous profession. It's dangerous because driving itself is dangerous, and truckers do a lot of driving.
Staying in complete compliance with all the federal regulations is an absolute necessity for trucking companies, regardless of size. Failure to do so will result in a variety of problems, including penalties, fines, and may even lead to the company's privileges being revoked. The vast majority of trucking company professionals are not compliance experts, however, and they often rely upon the services of a trucking compliance company to ensure they're meeting the DOT rules and regulations.
One of the newsbreaks that I was particularly interested is the one in Schultz & Schultz (2016), textbook “Don’t Look – The Driver Behind You May Be Sleep” (P.266). This newsbreak is about Truck Drivers; that according to Schultz & Schultz (2016) “78% of them having a sleep disorder called obstructive sleep apnea.” (P.266) The reason why I am interested in this newsbreak is because it effects all of us, we all drive on the road, and having someone next to you on the road being sleep deprived is scary thought. The truck driver could lose control of the vehicle and create a major accident where multiple lives could be lost.

When purchasing a used truck for my new job as a master gardener, I look for quality and a great deal. Pickup truck B has an extended cab to aid on the amount of mulch or decorative stones transported, but pickup truck A has the extended cab with bed liner. The bed liner helps the trees and shrubs to stay in place in the extended cab while driving and protects the bed from damage by the gardening equipment. Pickup truck A is damaged on the exterior with a few dents on the bright red paint; however, the dark blue and silver stripe on the side of pickup truck B has seat and carpet stains. Pickup truck B has an automatic transmission, which is easier to drive; however, pickup truck A has a six cylinder engine and may have better fuel economy.
There were several factors that affected demand in the trucking industry during the years 2007 and 2007. One of the main factors was the freight recession, and more generally the economy-wide recession, which forced companies to relocate or close parts of their business. Many companies declared bankruptcy during this time,
Recently, my sister-in-law (Kandis) was moving and had reserved a moving truck from Budget to make the process easier. While the truck did in fact make the move easier, the process of getting the truck was anything but simple. I accompanied Kandis to the Budget Truck Rental lot in Orem, UT where she had re-served a 12 foot truck for pick-up at 9:00 am. When we arrived at about 9:20, there were three Budget em-ployees behind the counter and we could visibly see three computer monitors on the counter. There were two other parties in front of us trying to pick up their reserved trucks. The employees asked Kandis if she had a reservation and she replied “yes, we have one for 9:00.” One of the employees told us it would be about 45 minutes

At the request of the Huffman Trucking Maintenance Department, Smith Consulting developed entities and attributes for their Fleet Trucking Maintenance database. Unfortunately, the creator of the database was not available and the development of the database system was not able to be completed.
