When a person is interested in being a neurosurgeon its is a good idea to research multiple sources to look further into this career choice. A person may want to take a career interest survey in order to explore all of the options in the medical field. She may research multiple topics associated with neurosurgery and the medical field such as a military programs and other college opportunities. A Navy Sailor receives regular salary, health care and occupational training, and can receive additional pay if the person is an eligible specialists. Today's Navy is a high-tech organization with career paths in over 60 different fields. The Navy takes vigorous strength and commitment for people considering the Navy in the US Military. The Coast Guard is responsible for the enforcement of maritime law and for the protection of life and property at sea. The Coast Guard was formed in 1915 by a congressional act combined with the Life-Saving Service and Revenue Cutter Service “Today’s Military”. The Coast Guard operates under the Department of Homeland Security during peacetime and under the Navy during wartime “Today’s Military”. The Coast Guard protects our nation's waterways, the approximately 40,000 active-duty members of the Coast Guard perform search and rescue, law enforcement and environmental cleanup operations. There is a much broader range of courses to increase the students learning. Most four-year students graduate with degrees that can be used for a wide spread spectrum of jobs. Students are free to take electives in any field of study. Four-year colleges offer students learning opportunities that can’t be found simply anywhere else. The student can get a four-year Bachelor's degree that prepares the student for a more professional career, and more prestigious for students looking for that kind of interest and be a good return on investment for the student. Going to a four-year college looks good on a students resume which could result in getting a high-paying job. A four year college offers a collegiate experience that some students enjoy. Also, offers a lot of classes that can give the student opportunities to expand their way of thinking and give opportunities to explore ideas that may never have considered. Most four-year colleges offer scholarships specifically to first-time freshman. Again, while these are all great results of attending a four-year college it has its downsides of the tuition being as often as three times the tuition of a two-year vocational. A four-year school has at least twice the amount of time as two-year schools. With a much larger student body than most community
