In the Holocaust not only were the Jews killed so were a group of people called the Gypsies. 1 million to 4 million Gypsies were killed in the worst ways with no remorse. But why would this happen to the Gypsies if they didn’t do anything? They didn’t consider the Gypsies Germans. The reason all this started was because of a theory that the Germans made. Nazi Aryan Racial Theory is known as a racial designation; Houston Stewart Chamberian was the first to use the term “Aryan” to mean the “white race” it was the Aryans who invaded the conquered ancient India from the north. The Aryan Race Theory was a way that Germans were segregated in many different ways. This started in the 1700s when scholars discovered Sanskrit was closely related to the European …show more content…
Gypsies were also different because they didn’t let their kids go to public schools. Or they didn’t go to local churches. Romany was also a group of people that were in tribes, not all the tribes were the same they each had their own different costoms, beliefs, leaders, and dialects. The Germans started this theory because they changed the word “Aryan” into a noun. Gypsies were the most effected because even before the Nazis took over the government, they wanted to find a good reason why they should eliminate the Gypsies wether they had the power or not. The Nazis found that calling the Gypsies “asocial elements” and also making them irrelevant to normal society, could help in eliminating them. Germans were also told that they would endangered the purity of Aryan blood and the public health. But it all got worse when in 1920 they had changed the label of the Gypsies to worthless life. Later on in 1928 when Weimar constitution was still ruling Germany, everyone had equal rights. But the Germans had passed a law that all Gypsies were under permanent critical police observation. “Rehabilitation camps” were the first places where Gypsies older than 16 would be placed, so they would be out of

There are many problems with gangs in prison. These gangs cause problems and threaten the well-being of others who don’t fit into their mindset or beliefs. This problem has been going on for a long time, and has cost the prison system a lot of money throughout the country.
Hitler and the Nazis had wanted everything to be in a certain order and everyone to be the same. Believing in the same things instead of everyone having their own vision of life. Even if he didn’t meet to those standards himself claiming there are these people considered as the all and mighty ones. They banished the gypsies from Germany in late
Between 1933 and 1945 Hitler and his minions tortured non-Aryans because they were considered of lesser value to his regime. History books are filled with horrific tales of mistreatment of human beings he considered inferior: Jews, those who were disabled, gay or lesbians. However, most people are unaware that there was a small population of Germans of African descent who were also victims. According to The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum website, “The fate of black people…in Nazi Germany and in German-occupied territories ranged from isolation to persecution, sterilization, medical experimentation, incarceration, brutality, and murder”. Because of the small number of
Well, Jehovah’s Witnesses believed that Jesus is God’s only direct creation, and that everything else was created by means of Christ. Every European Country, had people who didn’t believe in Nazi ideology. Hitler didn’t like this group of Christians because they refused to recognized any other god other than Jehovah. They were forced to wear purple wristbands and thousands were imprisoned as traitors. Who were the Roma Gypsies? Well, like the Jews, Roma Gypsies were selected for complete destruction because of their race. The Roma Gypsies were a nomadic people that were prosecuted throughout history. 500,000 Roma Gypsies were destroyed during the Holocaust. What happened to Homosexuals during the Holocaust? Homosexuals were prosecuted, tortured, and executed. Hitler even searched Nazis and he found homosexuals and he sent them to concentration camps. Homosexual Inmates were forced to wear pink triangles, so they could be humiliated inside the camp. 15,000 homosexuals died during the Holocaust. What happened to the disabled? Well, Hitler decided that it was a waste of time to support the disabled, so he sentenced them to death. Let me conclude by recapping my points. “The future of the German nation depends on its youth and the German youth shall have to be prepared for its future duties”
In 1935, the race laws that were used to prevent Jews from doing everyday activities was extended to the Romani people. The Roma, just like the Jews were targeted solely because of their race. The Nazi’s viewed them as an inferior race and a danger to Aryan society. Romani were labeled as “asocial” and unfit for German society. When the Nazi’s started sending Roma to concentration camps, they were forcibly sterilized because they were viewed as not being fit for human reproduction. Later, the Roma
“Germany will either be a world power or will not be at all.” (Hitler 137) Hitler was driven by his hunger for power, causing the death of millions of innocent people. No one could have known the dramatic effect this man would soon have on the world.
Germany’s fate was changed on April 20, 1889, the day I, Adolf Hitler was born to German official, Alois and my dear, Klara Hitler. Little did they know of what a miracle that had blessed them that day. My destiny was decided for me every time my father lectured me about the abhor Jews, taking up our German property, and beat me for the childish mistakes I made. I realized my destiny was to punish the faults in our once perfect nation. My father’s strict upper hand was not the only contribution to my great plan. At the age of sixteen, I left my home to pursue my dream of becoming an artist. I enrolled myself into the Viennese Academy of Fine Arts. The vile Jews in charge of the school denied me acceptance into the school. I spent
The Holocaust is most well-known for the organized and inhumane extermination of more than six million Jews. The death total of the Jews is this most staggering; however, other groups such as Gypsies, Poles, Russians, political groups, Jehovah’s witnesses, and homosexuals were targeted as well (Holocaust Encyclopedia: Introduction to the Holocaust). The initial idea of persecuting select groups of people began with Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in Germany. In January 1930, Hitler became the Chancellor of Germany after winning over its people with powerful and moving speeches. From this point forward, it was a goal for both Hitler and his Nazi Party to rid the world of deemed “inferior” groups of people (Holocaust Encyclopedia: Timeline
The Rise of Hitler During the 1920's and early 1930's Germany was trying to recover from World War. It had to pay reparations and try to rebuild the economy from bankruptcy. It was because of the weaknesses of the economy and the Weimar Government, together with the growing popularity of the Nazis that Hitler was able to become Chancellor.
