I love to learn. At a young age, this passion allowed me to explore at my own pace and cultivated my fierce determination to seek the truth. Now I am surrounded by people who encourage me to try everything. I ruthlessly pursue my interests with the support of my friends and teachers. My pioneer spirit led to my exploration of marine life at Catalina Island, late nights to observe stars, roles in musicals, and even an attempt at belly-dancing. That support developed my willingness to try new things, so I always attend events given by friends and acquaintances. By giving others the same support, I work to create a community of interdependency. From these relationships, I know how to collaborate. Working well

The academics are about personal achievement, cutting-edge discovery, and community involvement, with students and lifelong learners selecting from a stunningly diverse array of possibilities, and that is more than enough to attract me. One academic major that I am especially interested in joining is Computer Science, a major that is shared throughout all three campus locations. There are a few factors that determine my choice for this major, one which is my prominent interest in math, a subject in which I believed do very remarkable in. As someone who enjoys math, I take pleasure in performing mental challenges and analyzing problems in order to solve them. Another factor for my choice in Computer Science is my interest in technology. There's no doubt that technology has helped improve our lives and it's only getting more advanced as the days go by. For example, Rutgers University is in possession of the latest technologies and state-of-the-art research facilities that assist students with their education. As the world is connected and driven mostly by technology nowadays, I desired to discover more about the technological world around me. Therefore, by studying Computer Science, I will learn how to utilize technology in assisting other fields and helping solve different types of issues. In addition, I relish in tinkering with items to see how they function. Finally, the Computer Science major at the New Brunswick branch of Rutgers University offer a program in which an undergraduate can earn both a Bachelor and a Master's degree in a short amount of time, thus graduating with two degrees, which will help launch me right into a great career, one that will help make a difference in the

The diversity of NC State would benefit me by allowing me to experience new relationships and skills. I learn and develop through my experiences, and the mixture of the campus, culture, and nearby cities would give me that growth. These new opportunities
Learning is something that I like to explore with someone. I personally do better when I have someone there helping/guiding me through the experience. As a learner I like to be able to ask questions, so I can make sure I am understanding the topic. I learn/think best when I am surround by people. Having other people around when I learn helps me learn from them. Also when I am with people we can brainstorm and bounce ideas off of each other when learning a new topic. I believe that students learn the best when interacting with their

Who I am as a Learner London Harcourt If I could say who I am as a learner, I would say that I am a risk-taker, and am very knowledgeable. I like this because I am not afraid to try new things, but I still know what I am doing. If you don’t be a risk taker and try new things, you can never learn anything. These are two very good traits to have, but I still have goals. I want to be more reflective and look back on my mistakes so I can learn better. My goals for behavior are to talk less and get more work done. The best way for me to work is to get a lot done and then take a lot of little breaks, sometimes I get carried away and start to talk and it gets crazy. I learned about this trait when I was a lot younger when I would clean my room. I would get distracted and start playing around, and then I would stop and clean really fast so I could take a little break again. I think this is a result of what type of learner I am. My color quiz results said I am yellow. That means I am very enthusiastic and try to change things where I can. I like to change things to make them more fun. So when I work, I take

Personal Reflection As I entered Utah State University as a freshman I was very indecisive on what I would like to major in and accomplish for my future. Now as I am in my senior year and last semesters at the university I am very pleased of what I have figured
Currently I am enrolled at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Computer Science+Chemistry program. During my high school years my two favorite most subjects were Computer Science and Chemistry. A selection of college was challenging and was hard to decide between the colleges that offer CS or Chemical Engineering as a major. When I was exploring for different colleges, I came across recently started program of BS in CS+Chem at UIUC and found it worth trying as it satisfies the need for two subjects that I like to explore the most. When I actually start taking courses, I found computer science more interesting and it is filled with tons of new possibilities to learn and integrate cutting edge technologies.
Learning is something that no one can truly escape. Personally I feel like I learn a billion new things each day from my surroundings, people, the media and books. As I have dived into college, I have learned so much from all my teachers and classmates. Lately I have been learning so many great things in my Acting I class that pose as new techniques to better my acting abilities.
