I have many goals I want to achieve in the near future and far. My main goal right now is to finish high school strong. I have kept a 3.9 GPA throughout my high school years and that is how I want to finish it. In the near future I want to continue my hard work into college at the University of Cincinnati and maintain a good GPA there. I also look to graduate college in 4 years where I will get a degree in business and go on to find a good job. I was apart of Hancock Youth Leadership last year and I went around the community and saw many different people working hard and doing what they love. It was a great experience for me to see how much all of these different people loved their job and how much dedication they had towards it. This made
My personal goals are becoming top in ROTC, and being more social in life. My hopes are that
Ever since my elementary years, I have taken my education and the work I do seriously. My dedication to the qualities of scholarship, character, leadership, and service have helped me during my high school experience as high school was a eye-opener for a young girl with big dreams. A quote that is to mind when I think about what dedication to scholarship and character means to me is one by St. Jerome; “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. 'Til your good is better and your better is best.” I have always gone past the point that is the best I can do in my academics accomplishments, building my character, being a leader, and helping others. I take pride in the fact that I work hard, push myself, and excel
As my high school career ends, I notice increasingly how much life that I have yet to live and the opportunities available to me in the years ahead. The past four years have been great preparation for my future endeavors, but college is the path leading to my full potential. In order to reach the end of this path, I utilize my most valuable trait—determination—to set short and long-term goals and achieve them. It is with this “can do” spirit—like the one my grandpa, a former Navy Seabee, evinces through his stories—that I have set my personal goals: to volunteer my time in service to others, further develop leadership skills through experiential learning, and excel at my school work no matter how challenging it may seem. Though these may
The goal I made still applies to me today. I want to be a better person, helping people in need and creating better futures for others. As a member of the National Honor Society, we focus on that as we contribute to our school and to our community.
Coming into high school, I was very involved in an organization called FFA(Future Farmers of America). Freshman year I was a “Greenhand” officer and competed in many different events. That same year I attended a speech contest and qualified for finals. I was also involved in choir for the first three years of my high school career and was able to have the opportunity to go to contest four times, in which each time I was able to pull off a high score. In my near future, I hope to attend Southwestern college and earn my teaching degree in early childhood education.
Secondly, I want to give back to my community, to come back and my goal is to help others by talking about their future and higher education. By going to high schools around my community, and be a mentor and support students with questions and goals of their future after high school. I am always positive any
Has a neighborhood ever had a limit on choices made in the community or in the creation of the houses? Some communities have little to no involvement with other neighbors or have no activities to do with others. Other neighborhoods may have a HOA which could limit the freedom and creativity that some home owners may want. Lastly, neighborhoods may be located further away from shopping centers and residents may need to drive further to get food, water, and gas. In possibly the near future we may become more connected in our communities, have more variety in home design, and have better access to shopping centers. (5)
An enterprise architecture diagrams are designed during the strategic planning process to strategically picture the organization in the current and future business environment regarding the technology, strategy, and business. The different future scenarios evaluated with the aim of strategically positioning the company to the industry trends through planning, programming, and budgeting (Schekkerman, 2004)).
Being a part of the mentor program last year, really made me think about the opportunities we are given to help. I just loved being in a group of people with the same goal, making Prosper High School a better place and environment. I want to be that person that new mentors want to look up to and listen to. I want to be able to show them how it feels to make a difference. I am a visual learner, and showing my peers how to give
I started high school with the goal to be an exceptional student, athlete and community leader. I took college level classes and pushed myself to complete and succeed in each one. I went out for the golf team when I had not ever played an entire round of golf and each year competed at the District level. I also was asked by my golf coach to go out for the basketball team when I had not played basketball since the 5th grade. I took a chance and not only made the team but competed on the varsity level and eventually represented my team as captain. I was the only student in my school to receive a Varsity letter for all four years of golf and basketball. During this same time, I completed 150 community service hours and campaigned for the Relay for Life charities and fundraising for both school teams. I am most proud of taking charge of the entire fundraising promotion which including creating the design for the T-shirts, collecting the funds, and distributing over 300 shirts to the classmates and families. We earned over $2000 to help purchase a new basketball retrieval system. I may be hard to look at the areas that might need improvement in a person but for me, I would like to try to talk a little less, listen a little more, and take a step back to evaluate the entire situation more often. I love to express myself and to share all
I have many personal goals that I hope to accomplish during and after my college education experience. One of my main goals is to carry the community service projects I have been participating in to college. I would love to work with cancer patients, tutor children at a local school, teach a Sunday School class at a local church, work with Habitat for Humanity, and countless other activities. I know that I probably will not have time to accomplish all the goals that I have for college, but I know I can conquer some of them, and I will.
I am progressing toward meeting my goals. I am doing this by getting more experience in school counseling at Lumberton. I have been able to lead classes on different topics and talk to students individually to help them. I have also started a girls group with five fifth grade girls on self-esteem. My girls group is my favorite thing I have done so far. My overall goal this semester was to get more comfortable with the students and lead classes and session. I have been able to do this through the help of Mrs. Cruthirds. Each day I am at my site I have learned something new. I also wanted to get more familiar with a school setting and understand what rules and guidelines need to be followed. I have learned a great deal about this through registering
The future holds many surprises in which case can be your dream job that has been taken by machines due to the increase of technology. However there might be jobs that may look absurd or unconventional but might exist in the future. To get the best out of the future, I would use my three favorite things and create or do a job that will fit in with the future. I have chosen to do agriculture, art, and robotics. Out of these things, I have decided to engineer robots that run on plants, tends to gardens, and topiary. I think the more our society grows, the more usage of clean energy is needed. Our current source of fuel is not renewable fuel. Our concerns for the planet include the decrease of our carbon footprint. This will help in multiple ways while enjoying the job.
I have many goals in life such as to have a good strong career and family. What is important to me is graduating Central high school and go on to UND. While at UND I plan to get my nursing degree and specialize in pediatrics and truama. I have
Through volunteer work in and out of school, I have acquired a lot of knowledge about myself and others. At Montgomery college, I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the volunteer club, and the Early Childhood Education club. One of my biggest accomplishments has been through some volunteer work outside of school. I had the privilege of giving a speech at the 2016 Race4Respect Down syndrome awareness race. I was proud of myself for this particular accomplishment because I was given the opportunity to share how my experience with the Special Olympics Joy Cheerleading team not only inspired my future career path but also helped me view the world in a whole new perspective. I have always wanted to advocate for others in hope that one day I would make a change and this opportunity allowed me to make a change in my life and in the lives of others. My passion since that day has been to become a teacher that supports and impacts students beyond the classroom whether they have a disability or not. As for my future plans, I hope to attend the University of Maryland in the fall and continue my studies in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. In the next two years, I plan to earn my bachelor's degree in teaching and hopefully become a kindergarten teacher. The pressure to be my best has always been self-imposed. I hold myself to high standards and expect nothing but the best from myself as I
