At the rate of 2,900 babies aborted a day, or 1,058,500 a year, the death toll is averaging almost double the deaths caused by the “leading cause of death” in the U.S., heart disease. These are 57 million people, who could've grown up to cure cancer, or found a reliable and abundant clean source of energy. When having an abortion, you don’t think about what the outcome is going to be. You just think about what’s going on in that moment. People have abortions just to make people mad and not knowing that it will also affect the them in the long run. Abortions can cause more negative leading affects than positive overall. With this in mind, I find myself in the midst of being against abortion. Abortion is a very controversial topic, but up until this day it’s still being discussed throughout our society, to great heights to the point where the presidential candidates were discussing it through debates. Women should be prohibited the right to an abortion because no one has the right to take another’s life, it can cause long term health risks, and alternatives are available.

I think there should be a way out of your mistakes if you want there to be. I don’t think facing the consequences for your actions is always the best thing to do. The pros of abortion can be considered only if you been rape or if the ladies who is pregnant has a high-risk pregnancy or if the ladies are having a teenage pregnancy. When I first heard about abortion I was just a small child, I was about 7-8 years old. I didn’t understand exactly what that was, I first saw it in Dirty Dancing none the less a movie with Patrick Swayze. In the movie the women has an abortion but not in a clinic or a hospital in a home they used a clothes hanger to abort the baby. The woman was able to abort the baby but she got extremely sick she eventually got help and was ok. After watching that I had the idea in my head growing up that abortions are dangerous and if a women wants to abort a baby she should be able to go to a clinic and abort the baby without putting their lives in danger doing it at someone’s home.
