Developed by Roxr Software, Clicky is the best thing invited since Google Analytics. Some even think its better the the Google Analytics. This tool is free to analyze one website and that has less then 3000 daily page views (upgrade to more sites and premium features). Clicky, known for its simple interface, has an array of features that beat a lot of competitors. Said best by www.cloudflare.com; “Clicky is designed to be the easiest web analytics service you 've ever used. Services like Google Analytics do everything except take out the trash, but you probably don 't know what any of

One of the great things about their dashboard is that you can customize it in a variety of ways so that it will only show the stats that matter most to you. Clicky provides real-time data unlike Google Analytics which stats are all delayed by at least 24 hours. Check out this example:
Alerts/Goals/ Uptime Monitoring
Another great feature Clicky provides is Alerts. You use this feature to be notified of events of interest on your web site, such as conversions, campaign visitors, logged in visitors and more. Instead of relaying on a third-party uptime monitoring tools, Clicky has partnered with Monitage to bring website uptime monitoring to users for no additional cost. Clicky alerts you when your site goes offline so you can react time immediately. With five distinct geographic locations around the world and Clicky alerts you only when a majority of the monitoring servers agrees that your site is down. On a different note, commonly alerts are used for goals. Defined by Kaushik (The Digital Marketing Evangelist for Google), “Goals are specific strategies you 'll leverage to accomplish your business objectives.” By setting up and tracking goals with Clicky, you can easily interpret how visitors is reaching these desired action. There is a convenient short cut to setup an alerts, when setting up for goals, that allows you with the options for the goal to be pre-filled into the alerts form.

And yes, this information is valuable. But these analytics tools alone can’t offer the insights that drive successful business decisions. This level of analysis has to come from a certified “analytics ninja,” a person or team of people that can dig through the haystack to find the insights that move the needle. Even if you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on the best analytics products out there, if you don’t have some certified analytics ninjas on your team, you’re just blindly wasting your cash. Essentially, your Web analytics tool is only as powerful as the person using it.
In the world of technology that we live in today has forced companies in almost every industry to use whatever tools that are available to help them be competitive in their business industry. There are a few ways to do this, one of those ways is the use of Web analytics, which is the collection of raw data from users browsing habits and then taking the raw data and assemble the data into clear comprehensive results. This type of analysis is very useful for companies, as it helps them learn what users are doing and their habits and the best way to target these users.
In today’s companies, the analytics software plays the important role and guides the future activities to a great extent.
3. The most interesting about the website is tracking how many people and who have visited your website. And my favorite tracking since my first blog and several websites is Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tool. Google Analytics will help with tracking the number of people who have visited the website and also give you a quick reports of their behaviors and other information. Whereas, Google Webmaster Tool will help you understand and improve your site in Google
Businesses today have access to significantly more data than any other time in history; however, most businesses are not capturing or using the data effectively. A report by the Aberdeen Group, “The Executive’s Guide to Effective Analytics,” indicates that “44 percent of executives are dissatisfied with the analytic capabilities available to them today, and that they often make critical decisions based on inaccurate or inadequate data” (Forbes, 2014). Luckily, CEO’s are beginning to recognize the need for analytics and more and more businesses are making a shift towards a data-driven business culture.
Analytics is one of few ways to gain insights to meet your customers’ needs. It helps bridge the gap between providing a service to solving real problems.

Web Analytics tools like Google Analytics provide a myriad of metrics that users can benefit from in order to enhance their business capabilities. These tools enable users to measure a broad range of web data from visitors, bounce rates, page views, conversion rates to dashboards, custom reports, and goals. It can be sometimes confusing to make sense from all the web data obtained. Some users utilize basic features of the web analytics tools and some others utilize complex features to crunch the data based on the specific business requirements. Sometimes users spend superabundant time to analyze complex data that really has not value.
In addition to these features, Web analytics may include tracking the clickthrough and drilldown behavior of customers within the Web site, determining the sites from which customers most often arrive, and communicating with browsers to track and analyze online behavior. The results of Web analytics are provided in the form of tables, charts, and graphs.
While digital tracking has made web analytics explode since the turn of the century, the metrics used to measure the success, failure and everything in between for web analytics have evolved tremendously. Initially, businesses were happy enough to get web “hits”, until they realized that a web server showing a document, image, or other file was a hit, which in turn meant that if one user went to one web page, often there would still be multiple web hits measured. This significantly devalued hits as a key performance indicator (KPI.) So then emerged the page view as the KPI. In effect, the page view is a condensed version of the hit; so while it only reduced the multiple counts during a single user’s page view to a manageable level, it allowed better insight into other aspects of a user’s time on a web page, including page views per visit and time spent on web pages. And
Finally, actionable web insights don’t come simply from clickstream. In order to picture an accurate perspective on our business, we need to utilize people with analytical capabilities and business acumen to tie clickstream behavior to other sources of data, information, business strategy, etc.
In web analytics 1.0 we have a lot of data, among that data we have so little actionable insights because clickstream data is great at what, but not at why. We have the what:
There are various web analytic tools used such as Google Analytics, Clicky, Mint, Church Analytics, Open Web Analytics, Click Tale, Crazy Egg, Piwik etc..,
Improve website design and user experience – Web analytics makes it easy to find out how users are interacting with a business’ website. According to how the users are using the website, the business can improve the design and the functionality to make a better user experience.
In today’s world, for almost every business, it is essential to have a website which serves as an information gateway for customers to gain insights into the business. In return, a website is also a tool through which business analysts can understand more about the behavior of customers. This would mean that tracking and analyzing website data is crucial to making sound business decisions, hence the growing favor for Web Analytics.
