To Whom It May Concern:
Please accept this note and resume in consideration for the Ticket Sales Account Executive position with the New Orleans Pelicans. Working in ticket sales requires the ability to make cold calls, establish relationships with clients, analyze current market trends, lead teams and provide measurable and valuable results to the Pelican’s bottom line. I believe that my prior work experience, including my current position with the Ole Miss Athletic Foundation, enhanced with an MBA, along with my unique and valuable skill set is an excellent match for your basketball organization.
I excel in fast paced, challenging environments where my prior work experience in season/group ticket sales and creativity can positively affect
I have over 20 years of diverse experience directly in hospitality management, operations, vacation club sales and membership
The position requires expertise in writing, computer and communication skills and a passion for sports. My academic programs emphasized sports communication and management. Through my courses and Sports Link at High Point University I am now proficient in these skills. In addition, I previously held an internship with the Greensboro Grasshoppers in the summer of 2015 as a part of the promotion team. While there, I gathered fans to participate in game changing activities
Since 2007, no team that went on to win the NBA championship finished worse than seventh in defensive rating (points allowed per 100 possessions) during the regular season.
Even though the New Orleans Pelicans signed Anthony Davis to 5 year / 145 million dollar extension this past off-season. The Pelicans should strongly consider trading Davis within the next 2-3 seasons because Davis has missed at least 15 games in each of his first three seasons due to a number of injuries, which include sprained right shoulder, sprained MCL and a fractured left hand. If Anthony Davis continues to sustain injuries that force him to exit or miss games he will not be able to lead the Pelicans to any real team success. Real team success for the Pelicans would be winning 50-55 regular season games and making it pass the first round. For the Pelicans to achieve this goal they would need Davis 75 to 80 games without missing big portions of games to attend to an injury. Since the Pelicans do not have another impact player on their roster that can help them tread water until Davis.

After much debate, France offers to sell the U.S. not only New Orleans, but the entire Louisiana Territory for a price of only $15 million dollars! Stretching from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico, what will our nation do with all of this extra land?
Kevin Durant left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors. This proves the theroy “if you fall down, get back up and take the easiest road to reach your goals.” My parents taught me that no matter what happens always maintain your integrity and work hard for what one wants in life. I will use my scholarship money to help further my education in the Criminal Justice degree program. I will then be capable to earn the neccesary stratigies and information such as my decision making, communicating skills to help my community as a police officer.
Alright fantasy basketball fans it’s time to for my latest installment of my GF2 team previews. In my latest NBA preview we’re going to take a closer look at a very intriguing team, the New Orleans Pelicans. New Orleans made waves last season and are expected to be even better this year. Star power forward Anthony Davis is by far my favorite guy this year for fantasy, so we’ll stray away from discussing his absolute greatness. We’re going to look at three guys who I have rostered over the last few years who all have tremendous upside.
Round two of the NBA playoffs are rolling along. The question as it seems now, is can the Toronto Raptors or Miami Heat slow down the Cleveland Cavaliers and stop potential back to back NBA Finals appearances? The Cavs are currently 7-0 in the playoffs, the only team still without a playoff loss. The Heat and Raptors on the other hand, both were taken to a Game 7 in round one, advantage Cavs?
The Cleveland Cavaliers were founded by Nick Mileti and established in the National Basketball Association in 1970. The Cleveland Cavaliers were organized with the Buffalo Braves and the Portland Trail Blazers. Their inaugural season resulted in a last place finish with the record of 15 wins and 67 losses. The Cavaliers originally played their games in the Cleveland arena. In 1974, the team moved to the Coliseum and, as their exposure to the game grew, the team improved.
I am a sixth grader in Fremont. Your loyal fanbase has been faced with the problem of our team moving to Chase Center in San Francisco. Although this might be a profitable move for your organization, the majority of your devotees are opposed to this because playing in Oracle Arena is a major advantage, customers will be more satisfied, and there is a hospital located nearby the new arena which might create problems for patients.
I am interested in Assistant Director of sales because it is an important position where you meet people and it is a crucial part of making Gator Growl successful. When I was younger Gator Growl used to be in the stadium and it would always sell out. However, now sales is a much bigger role because the Gator Growl has drastically changed and I want to be involved and sell as many tickets as possible, ultimately making Gator Growl the best experience it can be. Also as an engineer this sort of business practice can aid me in my career as it will help me stand out from other “book smart” engineers with less speaking ability.
I feel I am a good motivator and I enjoy travelling which I believe are integral factors of business at the highest level
Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves was unanimously named National Basketball Association Rookie of the Year on Monday for the league’s 2015-16.
My objective is to find an opportunity to display my skills and knowledge in a challenging field where I can grow as a person and as a professional.
