Newton and the 3 Laws of Motion, Isaac Newton is the scientist that invented a theory of laws represent mankind’s first great success at describing diverse aspects of nature with simple mathematical formulas and they form the most appealing physical theory they all lay groundwork for physic developments.
Isaac Newton was born on January 4, 1643, Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterworth in the United Kingdom. Isaac was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge and was also educated at The Kings School in Grantham. Isaac was a professor at Cambridge from 1669 to 1701 succeeding his teacher Isaac Barrow as Lucasian professor of mathematics. All his life Isaac was a great student and teacher. He made his biggest discovery in the two years of 1664 to 1666 when the university closed down and he retired to his hometown in Woolsthorpe.
Newton had many contributions to science but the published paper on the “Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy” in which the universal gravitation and the three laws of motion were described. Isaac as a kid everyone was scared of him all of his fits of depression and outbursts of violent temper, he was not a person to mess with Isaac was a very over protective person and didn’t let anyone get into his business. Isaac took a lot of his life seriously being a really rich, famous and internationally known as one of the most foremost thinkers in the world.
He found that one single force, called gravity, kept all of the planets in their orbit around the sun. One day, as an apple fell from a tree to the ground, Isaac Newton wondered if the same force that made the apple fall to Earth, had anything to do with the movements of the planets.Through mathematics, over the next 20 years, he refined his new theory. Isaac Newton even published a book explaining gravity, along with other things about the universe. He says uniform laws are followed by nature, and that all of the motion the the entire universe can be described and measured mathematically. Throughout his life, he discovered three laws of motion, and titled them Newton’s Three Laws of Motion. The first law is the Law of Inertia. This basically states that an object in motion, will retain its state of motion. The second law is force equals mass times acceleration. So, the more mass to an object, more force is needed to accelerate it. Finally, the third law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This means that when you push an object, it pushed back equally as hard in the opposite direction. Many people don’t know what Sir Isaac Newton did and why he is important. He is important because he created the three laws of motion. His laws created the basic principles of motion that we study today. Newton wasn’t born important, he came into this world like any other baby on January 4th, 1643. After living a successful life, Newton sadly passed away on March 31st, 1727.
Born on January 4, 1643 in England, Isaac Newton was born to a hopeful family of farmers. After the death of his father, Newton's mother found love again when he was merely three years old. Young and not yet able to comprehend the abandonment, Isaac thought nothing of living with his grandmother after his mother ran off to remarry. Upon his mother's return proceeding the death of her lover, Isaac Newton was withdrawn from King's School, Grantham in Lincolnshire. His mother thought little of his studies and encouraged him to take up farming, just as his father had. After the intervention of the headmaster, Isaac was able to return to the school where he passed his exams and impressed the likes of Trinity College in Cambridge. Isaac Newton was very fortunate to have education. He enrolled Grantham Grammar School at the age of 12. Later on in 1661, Isaac enrolled in the Trinity College in Cambridge. He earned his bachelor of arts there in 1665.
Newton had many important life events that contributed to the man he was. Technology was changing immensely, the calendars later changed so for some they would say Newton was born on January 4, 1643. But it is all the same (Rosinsky, 2008). Lots of people would get mixed up about this. His father died three months before his birth due to illness. He was born prematurely, most said he wouldn’t even live but somehow he pulled through. Newton lived with his grandmother almost till he was twelve. Later his mother tried to force him to go to farm school, but he failed and started to attend Kings school.To prepare for Trinity college, Newton left for Cambridge in 1661. In 1665 he took a bachelor’s degree, but his college had to close for two years due to the plague (Hatch, 2002). He later returned to Woolsthrope.This was his prime time of inventing. He was very good at applying math to science. Math at the time, was not good enough. He invented calculus. Newton created a new theory on light and color. In 1667 Newton returned to Cambridge. He continued going to school without the support of his mother, as he grew up mostly alone. He attended college in Cambridge, he became a professor in mathematics. Newton stopped teaching because of the great plague. His laws of motion were physics that started the beginning of basic mechanics.
Isaac Newton was a scientific genius who helped the world understand many concepts. Isaac Newton is probably most famous for his discovery of the laws of motion which describe gravity for the first time. The laws of motion also described the force of an object depended on two things, mass and acceleration. With Newton’s help the modern world has been able to innovate and invent many things some that during Newton’s time was thought of as impossible. Isaac Newton was a scientific genius who was the first to describe gravity, he wrote three laws of motion, and finally helped modernize the world with the understanding of gravity.

He was born in Woolsthorpe, England on January 4, 1643 and died March 31, 1727 in London, England. During his lifetime Newton discovered and invented many things, while also studying lots of classic philosophers and astronomers.
