ABSTRACT ii
The purpose of this presentation is to determine the use of NLP in language teaching. In this study, in the first part, some background information was given about what Neuro-Linguistic programming (NLP) is, and whether NLP was used in language teaching before. To put forward whether NLP is effective in language teaching, general questions related to NLP are to be asked to language teachers in questionnaires and interviews. The collected data were analyzed in tables and graphics by using numerical system. According to the findings, the hypothesis and the results were once more examined in the conclusion part.
1. INTRODUCTION
Language learners generally think that learning a language is a long and a difficult

NLP, with its roots in psychology and neurology, is about the way the brain works and how the brain can be trained for the purpose of betterment. It encompasses or is related to 'left / right brain' functions, 'visual / auditory / kinesthetic' learning styles, multiple intelligence and other areas of research which are attempting to identify modes of learning whilst recognizing the importance of the individual learner.

Here are the key features of NLP:
NLP is about recognizing patterns.
NLP is concerned with process rather than content.
NLP provides a model of how we communicate with ourselves and others. (Darn, 2005:1)
The name "Neurolinguistic Programming" might lead one to expect that it is based on the science of Neurolinguistic and that it also draws on behaviorist theories of learning. However, in NLP neuro refers to beliefs about the brain and how it functions: the literature on NLP does not refer to theory and research in neurolinguistics. Linguistic has nothing to do with linguistics but refers to a theory of communication, one that tries to explain both verbal and nonverbal information
In this article, the authors examine the challenges of working with English Language learners with learning disabilities. The article begins with a dilemma that many educators face daily, being able to meet the needs of all students in a classroom. The article identifies the characteristics of LD students, issues ELL students face learning a second language and the cultural context for teaching and learning. The next part of the article offers a framework that addresses the educational needs of students based on their language, disability and culture. It focuses on how general and special educators along with the ELL teacher can effectively collaborate together to meet the needs of all learners.
Impact of Current Political climate on English Language Learners Students and funding in the public school.
Have you ever wondered how we speak? How about why our communication is considered a language and other animal’s communication is not considered language? A wide range of beliefs exist on what defines language. Thus, by exploring the definition of language and lexicon, evaluating language’s key features, the four levels of language structure and processing, and the role of language in Cognitive Psychology, an understanding of what language is becomes clear. Let us begin by defining language and a term named lexicon.
Argumentation – An argument is writing that is used to convince the audience of something.
What is the language that most kids are taking throughout their elementary, middle, and high school years? Some would guess French and German, but most would guess Spanish. In today’s world more people than ever speak a romantic language. Some would argue that by learning the basics of Spanish, that allows you to be able to travel and communicate with anyone who is able to speak a romantic language. Others may argue that choosing a specific language that a child desires to learn is more valuable. Spanish should be the only language taught in schools due to the repetitiveness that is instilled within the children, and the commonness of the language itself.
Language acquiring, in terms of I-language, corresponds to the change of a subject's mind/brain state. To know the language L is for the subject's (H's) mind/brain, initially to be in a state So, to be set to a certain state SL. (4) One task of the brain sciences will be to explain what it is about H's brain (in particular, its language faculty) that corresponds to H's knowing L.
Well, NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming, and it is about how to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve our specific and desired outcomes. It's the visual, auditory, kinaesthetic and olfactory and gustatory that we have and use, and how that plays a part in the Pictures, Sounds, Feelings and Tastes and Smells and Words that we use (Self Talk).
Speech is a projection of thoughts and feelings going on inside a person. When a person using NLP listens intently to the words spoken by another person and starts using the same words while talking it becomes possible for him to enter the other person's world and view it as he sees it and have a better understanding of how that person feels or thinks and ultimately help in building rapport, persuading and influencing him/her more easily.
Dr. Richard Bandler, a mathematician, and John Greener, a linguistics professor, co-founded NLP, also known as Neuro-linguistic Programming, in 1975 at the University of California Santa Cruz.(www.creativity.co.uk/creativity/guhen/founder.htm) Joseph O’Connor and John Seymour in their book Introducing Neuro Linguistic Programming: The New Psychology of Personal Excellence describe NLP as “...a way of teaching someone how people excel in a field and teaching those patterns to others.” (pg.6) NLP is an interesting scientific discovery that is useful for several different fields of therapy, in science, and in education.
The best tool that a person can have in improving his or her mental situation, health and maybe his or her entire life is Neuro Linguistic Programming. It is some kind of a blueprint of a person?s mind that not only concerns human intellect, but also a person?s emotions, behavior and feelings. In this article we take a deeper look in the exciting and intriguing world of NLP.
Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP is a set of valuable techniques that you can use to improve yourself. Our thoughts and actions are resulted through our experiences of the world. This eventually affects how we use the language to express ourselves that define physiology, behavior and emotions. Neuro Linguistic Programming consists of techniques and strategies used by the people who are high achievers. Thus NLP focuses on discovering the patterns of excellence of experts and making these effective ways of thinking and communicating available for others to use for their own benefit or to assist others. These NLP techniques are being used in various fields like business, personal
According to Definitions.net, teaching method is defined as the principles and methods of instruction. Whereas, according to Claudine Kirsch in her book ‘Teaching Foreign Languages in the Primary School’, language teaching method is a comprehensive approach that helps teachers to decide what language skill(s) to develop, what activities and resources to choose and how to plan for progression. However, teaching method often confused with teaching approach. According to Differencebetween.com, method means a process while approach is an act of coming near as in the sense of ‘a way of dealing with a person or a thing’. Generally, teaching method is about how you conduct a class and teaching approach is the way you conduct the
Linguistics has impacted cognitive psychology as the quest to understand language acquisition and the structure of language itself is undertaken. Linguistics is a complex and multifaceted; it includes language structural patterns and language development (Barsalou, 2005). The process of language development is complicated and dense, as the study of language is examined; the role of cognition is inherently examined and analyzed. Sternberg (2006) also explores language as an innate process and presents the idea that humans are born ready for language as a biological and cognitive process.
Linguistic is the one of the scientific language. It has three basic properties which describe linguistic language such as language forms, language meaning and language in context. Linguistic language help in development of object oriented models. Objected oriented programming language is high level language which consists of object and methods. Now-a-days object oriented programming language has high demanded in the development of different application where it has many advantages as it is a platform independent, reusability, inheritance, information hiding, encapsulation, and polymorphism so many organization uses oops concepts for software development. Object oriented analysis and design are the two techniques which are used to analysis and design the application.
In these modern times (the 1960s, 1970s) a plethora of theories, designs, and approaches in the field of second language acquisition, came bubbling up to the surface. Due to the application of different functional, formal, and cognitive linguistic theories.
