1. What would you tell the course developers about this course? The course developers did an excellent job in putting the online course together. 2. What was the most challenging topic for you in this course? What resources or methods might have better assisted you with this topic? The most challenging topic for me was the Unit 6: A Normal World. At first, I had difficulty understanding the Standard scores and Percentiles of a distribution. However, the seminar and discussion posts in Unit 6 helped me a lot to get through and have a better understanding of the Normal distribution. 3. What did you like about the course? What did you not like? I liked everything about this course. The seminars, study plans, and the weekly discussions help

If you have ever bought something over the internet and used a credit card you may not have thought how secure is my information? Is this vendor someone I can trust with my credit card number? Will they inform me if my information is lost or stolen by them? These questions and many more can be answered by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The PCI DSS compliance requirements are strictly enforced by the payment card brands to all merchants who transmit, store, or process credit card information. The main goals or objectives of PCI DSS are: build and maintain a secure network that is PCI compliant; protect cardholder data; maintain a vulnerability management program; implement strong access control measures; regularly
The most challenging thing about this semester was the class CST2410, Intro to Computer Security. There were
Your company has a benchmark that is considered representative of your typical applications. One of the older-model workstations does not have a floating-point unit and must emulate each floating-point instruction by a sequence of integer instructions. This older-model workstation is rated at 120 MIPS on this benchmark. A 3rd-party vendor offers an attached processor that is intended to give a hardware accelerator to your workstation. The attached processor executes each floating-point instruction on a dedicated processor, without emulation. The workstation/attached processor rates 80 MIPS on the same benchmark. The following symbols are used to answer parts (a)-(e) of this problem.

There was such a variety of topics covered in this course and I wish that I had taken it in a classroom instead of online. With this online course, I feel like the material went a little too quickly. If I were in a classroom setting, I feel that
Within this course, there were issues or information from the course that most surprised, intrigued, or elicited emotion (positive or negative) in me. There were many topics that I already knew about but needed to refresh my memory and many that were new information to me.
I feel my strongest areas in this class is the nature of this course my understanding of the material, and the exemplary way of explaining of professor Joel help me to develop a strong way of learning and working. I also feel the are of the class that prove to be my weakest is the writing expectations. I honestly in my 4 years in college had teachers that expect I high level of writing, I feel that is the reason why I do not consider my self fully prepared. However, now that I am close to my graduation I am glad to be in this course, because of trough this semester I feel more confident in public speaking and my writing skills.
If I were to describe this course to a friend I would say this class is more than what anyone expects and is extremely eye-opening. It is not like a normal studies class, where it has boring content. It has content that is insightful and allows you to really think about the issues at hand. I would encourage a friend to take it because it is not only a fun class but very informative. I would prepare them for the reality of this class. This class does not just touch the surface of issues we have in society, but it goes much deeper.
One of my favorite assignments throughout the course was the midterm. I absolutely loved the documentary Half the Sky specifically because it truly opened your eyes to so many transnational issues. Issues that were not isolated to a specific village or city, but problems that were worldwide. The hardest part of the documentary for me to watch personally was the sections discussing human trafficking. China, Cambodia, and Syria are just some of the countries where sex/human trafficking is a predominant issue. People – typically women – are kidnapped, or sold by their families and then sold to brothels to work as prostitutes. Other forms of human

If I were to pick one specific part of the course that astonished me and made me rethink myself was when I was presented with the fifth written assignment. This topic being very controversial for me being a very confrontational
