Hi Jaleesa,
You did a very good job about the details on the Kingdom of Nubia. I totally agree with some of your points about Nubian's culture and lifestyle. I would like to add some information that I think you left out. The Nubians were very unique people, they were very different in many aspects when compared to the other cultures in World History. They were located in the southern, and their lifestyle were influenced by the Egyptians. They later set up a new Kingdom called "Kush", and developped a great trading network focusing more on gold. They did not have an official religion at that time, but they did have temples with Egyptian God. Though they did reach their highest level of political power as the Nubians established the 25th dynasty

K.B. runs this small department. She received approval to hire another medical ethicist to relieve the workload of the other ethicists who have a five-day workweek plus rotating on-call shifts nights and weekends. K.B. interviewed R.G. for the job. During the interview, she explained to R.G. that the on-call rotation was 5 pm to 8 am, Monday through Thursday, and weekends Friday at 5 pm through Monday at 8 am. K.B. emphasized how crucial it was for each ethicist to commit to their call schedule. K.B. acknowledged that she understood. After a successful interview, K.B. offered R.G. the job, and R.G. accepted. One week before she was to begin working, R.G. sent an email to K.B. requesting religious accommodation:
2. The development of civilization in Nubia was spurred by the need for irrigated agriculture and by its trading relationship with Egypt. Nubian culture and Egyptian culture developed through a process of mutual influence and borrowing.
Most of the Nacirema travel to the edges of their land during the warm period of the year. They pack their vehicles with large sacks that contain food, drinks, odd-looking tools, and shiny boards. When they arrive to the edges of their land they can see water; lots of it. There are also trillions of really tiny rocks that are between the Nacirema's driving path and the water. When the Nacirema walk on rocks, they feel soft.
It has been 60 years since we have last record the events in the Nacirema culture and now researches today are baffled by the culture of the young Nacirema children. For example these young are spending day and night with their noses in these light boxes. Day after day, night after night these children love to stare at these hand size light boxes. We don’t exactly know what’s so entertaining about the light or the box, but we see them laugh, smile, cry, and get angry while looking into the light boxes. The older generation of the Nacirema indicates a great display of disapproval of them, but hypocritically many of them spend almost just as much time viewing into the light boxes as well.

Mina is the daughter of Uganda-born, parents of Indian descent. At the age of six, Mina, her family and other Asians were expelled from Uganda by dictator Idi Amin, who felt that Asians were getting disproportionately richer than the native people of Uganda. In November of 1987, Joel Steinberg and his common-law wife Hedda Nussbaum, were arrested for the beating death of their illegally adopted 6 year old daughter Lisa. Examination of Nussbaum by physicians and psychiatrist’s revealed that she had been severely abused both mentally and physical by Steinberg for at least twelve years. Nussbaum was never indicted for Lisa’s death due to the fact that the prosecutor felt that she could not be held accountable. Hedda Naussbaum sat on the witness stand during the nationally televised murder trial with her “shattered face and detached demeanor” (Jones, 1997). Nassaubaum “became a symbol of Domestic Violence and America’s conflicted feelings about battered woman” (Jones 1997). Naussbaum told a NYC

First of all, Neytiri is peculiarly stunning. Coming from The Na’vi, a race of sentient extraterrestrial humanoids, she is approximately 10 feet tall. Neytiri has cyan-colored skin accentuated with relatively dark blue stripes and sparkling dots. The skin is as smooth as the water surface on a calm day and the build is much more slender than human's. Her wide shoulders and narrow waist create a gorgeous V-shaped upper body. She also has elongated neck and legs that make her body proportions quite thin. However, her musculature is sharply defined, giving no sense of weakness. Moreover, Neytiri is endowed with some feline features. She has the graceful cat-like movement as her tail sweeps when she walks. Her head draws attention because of the
Deep in the nearby swamps of a peaceful village, it was believed that there lived some mysterious creatures with magical powers. The locals called them “the Nokshobli” meaning odd people. These creatures were thought to be short in height of 2 feet and 4 feet tall. It is also believed that the Nokshobli is very powerful, with either light or dark forces. However, these creatures resemble a little man, but some describe them with scales and dark glowing red eyes. The eyes of the Nokshobli could be seen from the shadows in the swampy mist. Although, these creatures lived near the swamp; the Nokshobli has been known to lurk around the edges of the forest, near the village. However, when the creatures would come near the village,
