Ayman al-Zawahiri:
Ayman al-zawahiri was an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon) and also one of the founders of Egyptian militant group Islamic Jihad. After the death of Osama Bin Laden, he was made the leader of al-Qaeda on 16 June 2011.Under his leadership al-Qaeda continued its jihad against crusader America and its servant Israel and whoever supported them. According to some authentic resources Zawahiri was also suspected to be the operational brain behind the 11 September 2001 attacks in US.As he is one of the group’s chief ideologue and missionary. On the list of 22 most wanted terrorists, issued by the government of US in 2011, Zawahiri was second only to Bin Laden and continues to have a $25m bounty on his head. He went underground after the US-led attack to overthrow the Taliban. One of his wives and two children also got killed in an US air strike in 2011. Security analysts believe him to be hidden somewhere around Afghan-Pakistan border region. US again launched an air strike in Jan 2006 at Damadola, a Pakistani village near the Afghan-Pakistan border, where they suspected zawahiri to be hiding and killed eighteen villagers including four children. He is either Moroccan or Egyptian. According to the reports submitted by Pakistani officials in early 2006 he was thought to be dead in an US air strike near the Afghan border but later the Pakistani officials backed off from their statement and said that no al-Qaeda leaders died in the attack. He came to be described as al-Qaeda’s military commander in July 2008 and previously he had been assumed to hold overall command after al-Iraqi’s capture in 2006. Imam Anwar al-Aulaqi could be considered a transformational leader that possibly motivated Hasan enough to carry out a hostile act against U.S. soldiers. His role as imam in the mosques would have a significant impact for the followers in his congregation. Anwar al-Aulaqi has been linked to the terrorist group al-Qaeda through the use of social media. He has even spoke to three of the 9/11 hijackers prior to the events. The imam, and known al-Qaeda cooperative, was killed in an American drone attack in Yemen on September 30, 2011.
Al Qaeda was founded in 1988 by the most wanted terrorist in America, Osama Bin Laden, to bring together Arabs who fought in Afghanistan against the Soviet Invasion. Al Qaeda works with allied Islamic extremist groups to take over regimes it deems "non-Islamic" and remove Westerners from Muslin countries. The organization first began with three members and now there are approximately 200 to 1,000 current members. Al-Qaeda began to construct and offer training camps and guesthouses to its recruits; while they also attempted to pull in U.S. citizens for financial, communication, and operation reasons for the benefit of Al-Qaeda and its other affiliations. By 1990 Al-Qaeda was providing military and intelligence training in various areas including Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Sudan.

On May 22, of 2011 Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan. Osama was the leader of a terrorist group called al-Qaeda. He was Islamic, and assumed responsible for orchestrating the attack on the twin towers. The US had been searching for him for nearly a decade, but he was finally found and killed by the US Navy SEALs. He was buried at sea, because that was the custom and Islamic tradition. He has created a modern day crusade against western civilization that people support because of his rhetorical ability to create, not only through speech, but also through his actions, an insightful philosophy that has moved thousands of people into action against the United States. He was able to achieve this because he chose a religious path that people supported; he took influential persons in his life and his familial background into his radical stance on Islamic government and created an historical movement that has affected thousands of people.
In 1989 while living in Santa Clara, Mohamed attempted to obtain a job as an FBI Interpreter with several offices throughout the U.S. but was denied employment form all but the San Francisco FBI field office. In 1995, Mohamed obtained employment with the Burns International Security Company, a private company that provided security services to businesses and government agencies. The company assigned him to a security guard position at the Northrop Grumman facility that developed sensitive components used in nuclear weapons. Mohamed sought a security clearance to work in the facility's classified areas, but his application was denied (J.M. Berger, n.d).

In the article “Civil Rites” by Caroline Miller, she stated that civility has become a more or less elusive proposition. Although I am not sure whether I over-react about certain etiquette that I find uncomfortable, or if there is really a general dissolution of civility in today’s modern world. I’d like to think not, but in reality of this may be true; civility has been long gone in today’s modern world, and some of the older ones that still exist, are either offensive or confusing.

On September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists who were members of the Islamic terrorist organization named al-Qaeda, hijacked four commercial airplanes and committed suicide attacks against the United States. Two of the planes were ran into the towers of the World Trade Center (Twin Towers) in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside of Washington, D.C. The fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. The attacks resulted in mass death and destruction, triggering the United States initiatives to fight terrorism and defend our country. Things that were options, such as men growing beards and attending religious services regularly and women not working outside of the home were responsibilities the new regime endowed on the people. Throughout our upbringing one is taught not to speak to strangers because they are the ones who are most likely to bring harm upon us. The people found most trustworthy are normally family members and family friends. Most people would, without a second thought trust their children’s life with family or friends. This essay will explore definitions of the family, moral panics, formal and informal policing. Furthermore, this essay will seek to address how the media is seen to be the fourth estate of power. It will also discuss the power of the media and how the media frames and shapes moral panics, which consequently might give a misleading picture of the situation, through the demonization of strangers and how the media labels individuals within society. Finally, in order to answer the above question, the essay will look into cases and legislation to identify how governmental agencies have failed children who are deemed at risk.
