I remember it like it was yesterday, the mere idea took the breaths of me and my family as it was proposed because we knew it was going to come with controversy. It was March 23, 2010, when we witnessed president Obama signed one of the most unsecured, unstable laws ever, and it was called the Affordable Care Act. At first glance it seems great, but when you see the details and realize “how are they going to pay for this,” it becomes a problem. I witnessed the frustration on my dad’s face, the anger in his eyes, his face told the story about how this law isn’t going to benefit us one bit but, only hurt us because we were upper middle class. I felt a pain in my chest, knowing the more you make, the more you pay, it’s simply unfair and should be repealed because it’s not benefiting anybody. As the years progress since Obamacare was established many people have attempted to repeal Obamacare, but were overlooked by the senate because they look at the positives. Obamacare should be repealed because it brings a handful of negatives such as having a negative effect on the national debt, stopping companies from paying their employee’s health care plans, and the exponential increase in the cost of health insurance itself. There are many reasons for why Obamacare should be repealed, and one of them is companies denying health insurance to their employees.
