IMPRESSIONS A. Subject Matter As I look at into my prospectus the description in this subject is observational child study 1. So I was expecting to observe a child from the title itself. I am exited to enhance my strategy by observing a child. This subject would be a big help for us speders to learn the techniques of being observant. Decide what further information you to gain in specific child ability. I am expecting to go outside the campus to have a specific set up. Because going upstairs in 3rd floor of the university is not easy especially at 3oclock pm. This classroom will test our willingness to learn. This is a conducive classroom for us. It is a big classroom that can give our needs like chairs, table,board and it is a safe room. Even it is not air condition but the air is good enough because of the wall fan that they provided. We can do our activity without limitation of space. We are thankful because we are comfortable in this room. D.Professor I was impress to her because she can speak in English fluently. I am encouraged every we meet because she teach us in a high quality of teaching. She is unique in a way of teaching strategies. She can easily get our attention in the class to listen. Sequences of development are the order in which children develop; all children follow the same sequence of development but at different rates.
For my middle childhood observation I chose a 10 year old female by the name of Mycah Landry. Just to give you a bit of a background, Mycah attends a magnet school and makes straight A’s. It may be important to observe a child but at the same time it may mislead you into being judgmental, too soon. This study is intended to document my observation of a child between the ages of 2-5. The small child I observed is a 4 years old male. Family arrangements consist of the mother being the primary caregiver of her son. Since the child is not old enough to consent to my amateur study, I have received permission from the mother and father. For this assignment, I observed my six year old niece, Faustine Bui who was born on August 16, 2007, at the park where I was babysitting her with her mom for approximately thirty minutes. The park I observed her at is packed with children and dogs are allowed. There is a large play area with jungle-jims and slide and it includes a sandy area which has a variety of playing equipment as well.
The child I observed was a seven-year-old girl in Year 2 who sat on the second highest ability table in a mixed class. While not in school, she lived a substantial distance away meaning she travelled to and from school by car and was often the first child to arrive in the morning and the last to leave in the afternoon. I will focus on the social and emotional development of this child who, from now onwards, will be referred to as C.

For this project, I observed my mother's preschool class and the three children which she baby-sits on weekends. Most of the kids that are in the preschool class were three years old, but there was one five year old. The kids I helped baby-sit were two twin three year old girls, and one five year old.
The location of the observation was at the Community Center (Early Childhood education program) at 11:00am to 12:30pm on April 15, 2014. The school I went to visit was Public School 69. It was my little brothers elementary school. The reason I chose the school, was because I remember seeing him happy every time he came home from kindergarten. Every day he would come home and have a different project he did in class to show off. The outside of the school looked like a regular public school, but inside Miss Suzy’s* (not her real name) classroom was bright, warm, and inviting. My visitation was in the morning, right when the children began school at 8:00am. When I walked inside, the class room was baby blue with all kinds of art projects on the walls.
