Have you ever been scared to try? Have you ever just wanted to quit after failing, the first attempt or after multiple? How hard are you willing to work? I was told if I want something I was told I got to go and get it. Many people have told me I got to work even when people are sleeping. I have a family friend who's son is in the NFL and they both told me how hard you have to work to get there. I'm working for that right now.

We all say it's not very easy to become successful, believing that there's anything could get many of us including myself unsuccessful. The reasons are used when I see it were distractions, stress, and responsibility; these shows how I often lack on school work everyday in my lives. Distractions could be caused of being unsuccessful, because it is the biggest one was used a lot is social media. I used it so much I will stop my work and check it out. Social media is an everyday technology, we attend to use to search with anything or catch up the daily media. Throughout everyone’s life they eventually meet some sort of obstacle they must overcome. The number of obstacles one must overcome is varied, and what type of obstacle differs from one person to another. One obstacle may seem like a small pebble to some people may be a mountain to others, and this different perspective is exactly what keeps people from truly understanding how you feel and the challenge in overcoming that obstacle. My obstacle was people, and the hardest part about getting past it was the pressure from my parents that it wasn’t that big of a deal.

There is no such thing as too busy! People make time for what they want to make time for period. Just say I am too busy to make time for you and end it there. Franklin Roosevelt “New Deal” was to provide work relief for the millions of unemployed Americans. Federal money was given to the state to pay for public work which employed people. In 1935, Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act which also established a national welfare system and unemployment insurance. Poverty is everywhere and students growing up in a poor household can affect their education in many ways. These ways can be effecting their ability to learn, behavioral changes, and exclusion from school activities. All these things come into place when poverty and education come together.

I am disappointed in myself for my failures. I have failed the course English 1303 because I did not manage my time well and procrastinated. Procrastinating caused me to turn in sloppy work. I also didn’t understand some things that were said in class on how to do an assignment and refused to seek for help. Refusing to seek help caused me to do assignments incorrectly which caused me to receive a failing. I have accepted that it was my full responsibility for failing the course, thinking I could handle more than I really could and pretended to understand more than I actually did.

Throughout my essay I have came to the conclusion that the bad outweigh the good. It can be horrible and helpful just depending on how you use it. Many people see failure as the end of a journey, but in reality it is a step that must be taken on the road to success. I experienced one of my biggest failures during the summer before my junior year of high school by being cut from the soccer team. Soccer is one of the things I love most and when I was told I couldn’t play anymore I was heartbroken. I thought that my dreams of playing were over and that it was time to find a new hobby. For weeks I searched for new things to do but I could never keep myself away from playing.

I think being a perfectionist prevents one from being creative. Perfectionists tend to compare themselves with others, and they believe that they have to better than others, and be perfect (at least this is the image I have about perfectionists) As it mentions in the book, perfectionists depend on their own self-worth on approval or acceptance from others. They want to conform with others, or stand out and are so afraid of being rejected or receiving criticisms in the case of life paralysis. They need to cultivate the courage to be imperfect. Actually, no one can be perfect. Everyone has their own strength and weaknesses. Forcing themselves to be good at everything does not help developing their own uniqueness. I personally don’t consider myself
