The deep sea is home to many fascinating creatures that have yet to be explored by scientists for their features. These creatures can be seen as special for the way they are able to survive in the extreme sea environments. Three species, in particular, have interested scientists for their own unique ways of adapting: the giant squid, the zombie worm, and the yeti crab. Their ways of adaptations allow them to survive in the intense deep sea environments.
Ocean Plastic Islands Plastic is a huge problem to the Earth’s ecosystem, including to the marine wildlife of the oceans. It gets into our oceans in large quantities, and they pile up to a point they become an “island of plastic.” Some of which are estimated to be as big as a few million square miles, the biggest being in the Pacific ocean. This could result in environmental issues that could harm the ecosystems of the oceans. It would be eaten in small quantities by fish and by birds, which could cause many health problems that could lead to death. This is a problem that will only lead us to think more critically the waste we produce as humans. In only of a short time span of 35 years, was the oceans transformed into a landfill of plastic.
To begin with, if I was currently an advocate for the environment and animals I would first focus on the Orcas, or killer whales, at theme parks, specifically Sea World. First of all, Sea World is inhumane. Five of the Orcas currently at sea world were “whale-napped” from the oceans they called home. For example, Tilikum, one of the most know whales in the Sea World franchise, is now thirty-two years old. He was captured at the age of two by, which means he has been in captivity for thirty years. And, before anyone says Tilikum was injured so they “rescued” him I want to say that it is fact that Tilikum was not injured. He was taken from his family and confined to a tiny tank just so people could make a hefty profit. Also, if the Orcas are

That has been what I have been doing on the ship for the last year. It wasn’t always just me doing this; I am the last member of my crew on its way back to earth. My crew, my friends, my family, all gone and I don’t even know how it happened. Maybe it happened when they were on there way back from the surface or maybe something went wrong on the ship ether way, all that’s left of the explosion is a big hole in the shuttle bay and a lot of gamma radiation. In fact the gamma rays are the only thing keeping me from investigating the area.
On Sunday, February 14, 1982, the Ocean Ranger was out at sea drilling at Hibernia well J-34. It was carrying a total of 84 crew members which included 56 Newfoundlanders. At around 8:00PM EST, the Ocean Ranger revived weather reports of a strong winter storm heading their way. With winds about 90 Knots and waves up to 38 feet, it was no different than any other storm so the Ocean Ranger still continued to dig. It was around 4:30PM that the Ranger finally decided to disconnect the drill pipe and retract for safety and wait off the storm. At 7:00PM the Storm was in full swing but was rather smooth due to the pontoons softening the hits. But the Ocean Ranger received a radio signal from a nearby rig called the SEDCO 706 which said they have
It is stunning how without the use of a visual aid, the music shapes such vivid and live imagery, images of his childhood and cars enhance a lot of Frank Ocean's storytelling as he doesn't use cars in the typical Pop/Hip hop way. Instead his cars express a sense of
