All the pros of having hydroelectric power is that it is a clean resource, the only time when pollution is being put into the World's atmosphere and when they build the dam, once it's built it can be a very environmentally friendly resource of electricity. Another pro is that it is safe, it won't explode like nuclear or many fossil fuels, making safer and allowing people to use this power without worry. Another pro is that it is reliable and renewable, the water will never run out and can keep going as long as the river flows.
