Since Texas did not have many lakes people took it into their own hands to build lakes in the state. One of these lakes is called Joe Pool Lake which is in Southern Dallas. This lake took more than 25 years of planning and over a decade of construction (Joe Pool Lake 2008). The lake opened in 1989 and became one of the most popular destinations in Dallas (Joe Pool Lake 2008). The lake includes things such as lake parks, camping, boat ramps, marinas, hunting, and fishing. This is a great place for both residents and tourists. Prince William Forest Park has flourished to what it is today but it carries historical events that not only made a serious impact on history today but also on the national park. As one of their historical events such as the Civil War, it established a huge impact on the park today and has continued to be a part of the parks history. It all revolved around the Civil War dating back to 1861-1865 where Prince William Forest Park was the town of Dumfries. The American Civil War had such a huge impact on Prince William Forest Park due to the events of the Confederate Blockade and the Dumfries Raid with the Cabin Branch Mining Company and its endless supply of iron sulfide , therefore shapes the park today

There's a park named Eagle Point Park and it is so beautiful and has many things inside. It has rooms where you can have a little birthday party, or a graduations party. There is a small pond that has fishes in and there is a waterfall. Then there is Flora Park, it has lots of flowers. That park is mostly used for walking but it does have swings and slides and a sand box.
A spring is a point where underground water emerges onto the Earth’s surface (Scott et al, 2004, p. 354). Florida springs are an important resource throughout the state: recreation, agricultural, public supply, and so forth. Indeed, many Florida springs have historical prominence in their respective regions. Florida’s karst topography is truly unique; the state’s bedrock is composed of limestone (and some dolostone), which formed over eons and is the remains of deceased sea creatures. This limestone is very susceptible to dissolution, and over time water has seeped through the bedrock to form underground aquifers. When parts of these aquifers reach the surface, a spring is formed. Anthropogenic activities can influence the health of Florida’s springs. For example, stormwater runoff can carry many harmful chemicals to springs. Florida’s springs are connected to the Floridan aquifer -- the underground drinking water source for much of the state’s residents. The importance of Florida’s springs goes beyond environmental processes. To further the scientific pool of knowledge, enhance public understanding, and clarify current gaps in the current state of knowledge related to Florida springs, it is important to analyze existing data; this paper aims to contribute to all of

Muscatine, Iowa, do not build a dog park! Building a dog park would endanger the lives of your people living in the city. Pets are their owner's responsibility and dogs are loud. A dog park would drive home owners away.

Alpine park is one of my favorite places to go in the weekends. The park is small, but with lots of people. Alpine park does not like the other parks with so many equipment and programs, but it have a lot of funs there. I went to the park everyday when I was at middle school and high school. I have a lot of good memories there in the park with my friends. There are only few basketball courts in the park, so people have to share it. I had made a lot of friends when we share a basketball court. Not only the younger people go to the park, many older people who retired also go to the park. I saw old man playing chess and women dancing at the park. Since I’m going to the school at Northridge, I would go back to Los Angles every weekend. Instead
