Oklahoma City Thunder: The Positive Influence Of Russell Westbrook

The conversation of whom is the better basketball player between Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry is a hard topic to decide. Stephen Curry who is a point guard and plays for the Golden State Warriors is more popular than Russell Westbrook who is a point guard and plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder but, Westbrook has more skills and provides more team chemistry. While Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook have their similarities, there are many things different about them. Durant has also been selected to seven All-NBA teams and nine NBA All-Star teams. Durant was a heavily recruited high school prospect who was widely regarded as the second-best player in his class. He played one season of college basketball for the University of Texas, where he won numerous year-end awards and became the first freshman to be named Naismith College Player of the Year. In 2007, he was selected as the second overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics in the NBA draft. After his rookie season, the team relocated to Oklahoma City and became the Thunder.

Although I may seem to be the worst basketball player in existence, watching NBA games astonishingly is one of my favorite things to do. This is most true when Wardell Stephen Curry is playing. Steph Curry is a member of the Golden State Warriors. Currently the team has a record of 46-4, which makes most of the games exciting and relaxing to watch. Watching Steph step out on the court, always giving his all, happens to be very inspirational. One can tell when Steph is shooting deep threes that he’s not just in it for the money, but he has a genuine love for the sport.

Steph Curry is a great example of a person who’s hard work has lead to success. Even when others thought he had no room to improve, that he was too good, he still did. Steph Curry has won sixteen awards, such as two time NBA MVP in 2015 and 2016, and the winning the NBA Championship in 2015. Sixteen is quite a few awards for a relatively short career of 7 years.
