In the book of Esther, written between 470 and 424 BC, reference was made to Jews indicating that Judaism originated about 3,000 years ago. Judaism is considered one of the oldest monotheistic religions in the world and traditions and values strongly influenced Abrahamic religions such as Christianity and Islam.
