One Story about a refugee is a story about a teen named Ali his story Is awful what happened he had to fight his whole life leading to his parents dieing. Eventally he got to america he said that it was not easy it was extremely difficult. This story opens my eyes by showing me how hard lie can be outside america sometimes when places don't have governments. Or are corrupt government. Some reasons why people will migrate from there country because mabye a civil war or corrupt leader or no government or a comunist system Nothing to help them no clean water no food. Some challenges they might face is criticism and they won't know how it works and might be manipulated. They also might not speak english or have an education to get a job to
In this essay I will be comparing and contrasting an excerpt from a book and a refugee story. I will talk about both the differences and the similarities of each story.
Ahn had not left this oppressive environment, he would have grown up in extreme poverty and would be a very different person due to the trauma that poverty causes. Refugees are here to escape poverty and persecution; because they have experienced severe trauma, they are at a much higher risk of psychiatric illness than the general population. I believe that these statistics can be reduced if our negative attitude towards marginalized groups changes. Because of the media and government induced stereotypes, Australians often show disdain towards refugees. This inhibits their adjustment to Australian society and creates further division among us. 'The Happiest Refugee' is a valuable resource in the fight against racism because it shows that refugees share our values, embrace our culture and are eager to contribute to Australian society, and I strongly support it’s inclusion in the Rochedale State High School English program.
Do you know what Refugees are what they do how they live and how they survive. Refugees are people that have to leave there home all because of war, they have to leave and find new ones far away. Before war happened in Vietnam Ha was different she was sneaky because when she went to get groceries she would by fried dough for herself, and she was mean because when she would hide her brothers sandals when she got mad at them. The title of the book makes you wonder a little by the words inside out and back again, the author Thanhha Lai had a good idea for making this book for a history lesson. Refugees like Ha and her family turn back again when they find better home like Ha she stared understanding more.
Refugee is about a boy named Mahmoud and his family. Refugee is written by Alan Gratz and begins in the Middle East and ends in Europe. On their way they have to make life and death decisions and have to cross the Mediterranean Sea. Most of the countries welcome Mahmoud and his family, but on their way through Hungary, they were beaten and harmed by tear gas. This book has many turns in it. For example, while trying

In the article “Shattered Lives” by Kristin Lewis, Dania the main character faces many challenges that a refugee goes through. One challenge is having very few resources like food, water, shelter, and clothing. The text implies on page 7, “It is common to see children with nothing more than pajamas to wear.” The text explains that clothing is limited for refugees. People are solving that problem by sending organizations like the UNHCR and UNICEF to help with giving families clothes and other things that they need to survive. Another challenge refugees face is going to school because going to school became too dangerous for most kids. The article states on page 9,”…far too dangerous and cold to walk.” The article shows that going to school
Many people are forced or decide to leave their countries. Some do decide to leave their countries but there is obviously a reason behind the move. Others are forced out of their countries due to the situations that their lives are in. It's hard for these people to adapt and change to new lives in new places that they may have never been before and now they have to live there.
No one is prepared for war and the most challenging decisions you will have to make to survive. Although each character in Refugee, by Alan Gratz, is from a different time and place, they each share similar hardships and challenges in their experiences, such as they were all forced from their homes, they all lose a family member, and their problems begin in their own country.
Many people migrate from their country and go to the U.S. There are many reasons why people do this. Lack of job opportunity, poverty, diseases, tends to push people to leave the country. For example, in the movie “El Norte,” Rosa and Enrique, the brother and sister, lived in Guatemala, where they lived under the Mayan time. Guatemala isn’t a modern country. It doesn’t have electricity or advanced farming tools or fancy houses or flushing toilets. Life is difficult there. The poor work as farmers, but are paid very little. They are extremely poor and if they try to fight for their rights, the government kills them.
There are many reasons why an immigrant decided to leave his or her home. One could be the lack of work or low paying jobs. In a life where most people want to prosper having a lack of work or money to move forward makes it really hard to progress in life. Another could be, that they’re in look for a better future for their children and want to provide the best for them, if they see that a land can offer better this also can be a reason to risk it all. Their government may be run in a way that they don’t like, killings feeling in danger all give a migrant a reason to want to leave so they go to new lands to try to find a better future.
There are many reasons why foreign people migrate to the United States. A few reasons consists of finance, living conditions, war, health reasons, and a search for a soul mate (Experts). Some of the migrants live in poverty, so in order to get out of it, they move to a place that have well-paying jobs. Coincidently they choose to work for a lesser price than American citizens do but its probably still more than what they make in their homeland. Also with poverty comes living conditions. People who are poor or who have very low income most likely live in ghettos. If a country were in a war or constantly going to war, one would like to move out of the country and stay out of the danger zone. Whether the battle is with another country or within the country. Health is another big reason for migration. Maybe a disease spreads throughout their homeland and they want to leave before getting the disease. If one becomes affected then they would like treatment, so they come to America because we have one of the best health researchers and one of the best curers of diseases. For example, the Ebola virus that has caught people’s attention especially Americans, is bringing patients from Africa to America for disease treatment.
The goddess, Marsyas, quickly wiped off the sticky sweat dripping from her forehead. Craftily, she fabricated with a unique design of a double flute. Sitting on the edge of her seat, she had one more swirl to finish for the makeup of the flute. Overjoyed, she dashed out getting all the gods and goddesses together, declaring, “Gods and Goddesses, for you today I present you, the double flute.” Giving her their full attention, she took in a deep breath, blowing out made her cheeks inflated up like a puffer fish. To the god’s surprise, clapped with glee, finding dazzling notes dance in their ears. But, Cupid found it hysterical as a consequence burst out guffawing, furthermore jokingly exclaimed, “Minerva, your face looks queer as you play that
Several economic social and environmental reasons are behind the migration. The economic migration resulted in order to find a new job or to pursue a particular career. The social migration could be happened to move closer to the family or friends for better quality of life. Political migration could be happened because of war or other political tension.
