• The system shall give the administrator the ability to maintain all reservations.
• The system shall provide enquiry services for the users.
NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• The system shall essentially be user-friendly.
• The system shall be reliable.
• The system shall be secure.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The system requirements for the ORPRS are as follows:
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• In the ORPRS, for booking tickets online, the intended user has to enter details like username and password.
• Once the username and passwords are verified then he is allowed to enter the main system wherein he can select the destination, date and no of tickets.
• For the purchase of the tickets he is asked for payment details (like credit card details etc).
• All the users should be able to see the reservation status of the trains online. The user needs to enter the train number and pin number printed on his ticket so that the system can display his current reservation status such as confirmed or wait-listed.
• The user is also provided with a provision of canceling the reservation where in the entire amount is credited back to his account.
• Only the administrator enters any changes related to the train information like change in the train name, train number, train route etc. in the system.
