As the result of a blunt force impacting my head, most like due a rock, I slowly regained my consciousness. My vision was blurry. Hearing some indecipherable speech around me, I try to move around, only to feel a tight binding of rope on my wrists and ankles. Moving around was not an option. As my eyesight stabilized and senses regained, I realized that I had been hanging on a wooden cylinder upside down. As stiff as my body was, I moved my head around, trying to grasp my current location and situation.
3-foot tall, bulky, grotesque creatures surrounded me. Their facial features resembled that of a pig, though much more ugly. Fat-covered bodies only covered by a dirtied loincloth. Each of them wielded various weapons, although the most common seemed to be a wooden spear with a metal tip. If my

This one was different from the others. Its figures was roughly half the size of the common Orc, but instead of the amounts of fat that could be seen clearly (too clearly) in the rest, toned and defined muscles were present. Grey skin was pigmented instead of the usual murky pink. As a sign of its prestige, it donned leather armor covered by a rugged white cloak along with what seemed to be a staff. It was clearly the dominant one out of the herd. However, despite that, it still had the same repulsive face as the rest. I classified this one as a [High Orc].
Holding up its staff, it started a chant with a weird rhythm, and soon after the rest followed soon after. Two Orcs carried me from my original position and took me towards the altar. After tying me to the altar with another piece of rope, this time slightly thicker than the ones used for my hands and legs, they returned to their original position and continued chanting with the rest. From my current inference, it was safe to say that what was occurring was a ritual, and I was the
As I ran, I felt my foot come down on top of a moss filled rock, and I knew I was in trouble. The slick moss ripped away from the slab of granite and it sent me flying. I knew the fall would be inevitable, and took the it as best I could and prayed for some luck. Branches ripped apart my face, snapping from the contact. Blood flicked up into my eyes. My shoulder made contact with the trunk of a tree as the rest of my body dug into the mud. My legs flipped up over me, crashing into piece of granite bulging out of the ground, pain traveled its way up my leg.
Is this what it feels like, no it can’t be I haven’t done everything I wanted. I can’t move my body isn’t letting me, the pain hits it’s overwhelming worse than any broken bone pain, I couldn’t deal with it I close my eyes hopping it would just go away. I feel arms grabbing me pulling me out of the wreckage I have caused. The pain is back blurring out my sight flashing lights blue and red is all I see. Looking to see who had grabbed me, I see a tall figure it’s too hard to make out. I was placed on my back on a soft cushion resting my heavy head I close my eyes
I held it for dear life. However, I never noticed that the rock I hit had broken it, but I was so scared being up that high up. All I could recall was everything going white and feeling so relaxed, yet still in mid-air. As I am flying in the air unconsciously, a loving pine tree swatted my body down to the ground. As my body fell down hitting everything in its path, getting pretty messed up and half of my face full of bloody specks. I do not remember the events that followed the few second where my vision went as a white as snow. I can only recall this whole moment with help from my family members, who told me everything that happened after me taking off like a
Imagine laying on the floor of the building that you would come to every day. My leg crushed to the point where I couldn't move with out bringing tons of pain. The first couple of hours of me being trapped I began to hear moment of people. Someone had came to the building looking for survivors, they try to help me
Waking up before the rising sun on the morning of the hunt left me feeling groggy with my eyes slow to open and close when blinking. Being extra quiet to not wake up my mother was a main challenge, trying to tippy toe around the cabin and dodging the creaky spots in the floor. Prior to eating breakfast, I began getting dressed. Due to the fact that I was in northern Minnesota, the weather was bone chilling and the wind would seep right through your layers onto your unexpecting skin. Once I had put on my long johns, sweatpants, and long sleeve shirt with a tee shirt on top I began to make my breakfast. I had decided to have scrambled eggs that were cooked to perfection with the yolk golden mixed in with the pure snow white egg white and flakes of pepper sprinkled throughout and toast with butter melted onto the crunchy outside making it soft with homemade strawberry jam spread thick on top.
Cendi's sharp eyes spotted the wayfarers despite their attempts to camouflage themselves, unfortunately they also spotted her and one of their number, a giant by the looks of it, stepped out into the open and pointed at her. A creature the likes of which Cendi had never seen before, bounded out of the trees and looked up at her, it was a mottled reddish color, with a round squat body, the head of the beast was wide and seemed to be mostly made up of an oversized mouth filled with triangle shaped teeth with serrated edges. Long, razor sharp claws adorned its front paws and most alarming of all was the four furry wings on its back, it leap into the air and flapped them furiously as it headed toward her.
"ME!" I fully came to consciousness with a scream and a realisation of the cold sweat that drowned my skin and the pain surging through my extremities. I loosed
When I regained consciousness, I tried to open my eyes to check my surroundings. However, being so long in darkness, I could hardly see anything. By the stench and the "beep... beep... beep..." sound around me, I knew where I was. A while later, my eyes got used to the bright light and could see much more clearly. The first thing I saw was a doctor looking into my eyes very closely. When I moaned at him, he backed up and smiled. " You will be fine. Just a little painful; doesn't bother too much," he said. Then he turned to my mother, and they chatted for a while. Before he left the room, he turned to me again, "Rest some more." He smiled again and closed the door. His smile was so warm, but not as warm as my mother's. My mother walked up to me, and she pulled a chair and sat down. I was too afraid to look into her eyes; she would be so disappointed because I crashed the brand new car. It seemed like my head weighted 20 kilograms, and I could not pull it up. I
The momentum forces me to stumble down. I fall on my back, the air knocked out of me. I lay for a moment, attempting to catch my breathe. As I learn to breath again, a heavy thing falls on me. My vision is blocked as a handful of black hair lands on my face. Next to my ear is a set of lips.
One day there were twenty elves, Mrs.Gulon, and me. All of us were in a classroom with seven moldy tables. Permanent blood stains covered thirty chairs from previous of other injured or slain students. The floors were flourished in green stains and slime; the floor also had drops of dry blood. The walls had rust marks all over and the ceiling was dripping green slime. I thought of the room as plain old room that never got cleaned by Mrs.Gulon.
As our plane landed, all I could see was green around the dirt landing strip. Trees, bushes, and tall grass crowded my view of the jeep that would take us to the cabins. We piled our duffel back in the back and drove off. Once my family and I arrived, the managers and staff all welcomed us. Everyone was so friendly! They showed us around where we would be staying for the next week; the view from our cabin was breathtaking. We could walk out of our cabin and an elephant would be standing less than 15 feet away eating leaves in the cool shade of the tree. The morning after we had arrived and were all settled in, we went on a game drive. We did not go on these game drives to kill, just to observe the animals in their natural habitat. Therefore,
'Alpha there is a rouge and a human on the North East border,' my beta, and best friend, mind links me 'Do you want me to handle it?'
Silent. At the edge of the sky there was a magnificent white patch, a turning page, catching the sun. The rest was ivory grey, with a subtle hint of mauve, just enough to announce the coming sunset. Scanning the horizon were the white cotton balls on cerulean satin, with a subtle layer of dove grey underneath, which was thin enough to let the light through. Stood there like a ghost, a silent observer of the venerable castle, and the clouds. The colossal mountains were shielding the inferior castle. Beyond the towering mountains was a decrepit, venerable and ancient castle like structure. The azure roof was coated and concealed by the thick opaque dust. The roof was as dusty as an abandoned warehouse floor. It was an elderly going paler as it got older and ancient. As I nonchalantly walked up the moaning narrow staircase, a thick mist of cold crisp air blew through me, rustling my hair and sending a chill down my spine.
Confused, shocked and fear filled my mind as I lye on my side, gasping for air, trying desperately to stagger onto my knees. A sharp pain suddenly ran up my spine into my forehead and quickly I collapsed back onto the cold damp floor inside this mangled metal coffin in which I was trapped in. Bit by bit I moved my hand closer to my forehead, trying to impede this massive throbbing that was affecting my head. I skimmed my forehead and paused my hand on a huge gash. The pain shot into my head again, but I was able to clutch on to the seat and hold my balance. There was blood pouring down the side
I find myself lying in bed, drifting ever so closely to sleep. My body slowly numbs into a more rested state. Abruptly, I am awakened by an incredible force that is pinning my entire body down at once. It is overwhelmingly strong. My limbs wildly try to fight back only to find themselves powerless to this unseen...something...what it is I am unsure. I am physically unable to move a muscle. I try to scream. The noise won't come. I try to scream louder. Still nothing. The more I try to push it off it pushes down harder and harder on me. I am unnerved by the fact that I see nothing causing this intense pressure. I feel breathless. I wonder if I've officially lost my mind. Helplessly, I begin to realize there is nothing I can do to stop this from happening. I give in, accepting defeat. Slowly now the force begins to recede. I find myself making weird babbling noises, grabbing deliriously at my pillows and blankets. I slowly regain control of my muscle movements. And there I am. Still lying in my bed. Yet now I lay terrified, confused, and unsure of what just came over me.
