HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) was formed on the 18 April 2005, following the merger of Inland Revenue and HM Customs and Excise Departments. Work is still continuing on our office restructuring programme following implementation of a national computer system, allowing automation of several processes and therefore requiring fewer staff.

As stated in Document 2, the colonists believed that the only purpose for taxes was to regulate trade, when given consent. However, the British Parliament passed acts that only benefitted England. One of the most memorable acts was known as the Stamp Act. Established in 1765, the Stamp Act required a tax on all printed materials. This tax was seen as completely unconstitutional by the colonists as it was neither passed with their consent nor was its purpose to be for trade regulation. It was that there had to be taxes on every piece of paper sold. The king wanted more money so he put taxes on everything. The money raised from the act was given to the King George. All the king wanted was money for him. To get the money he wanted he got in from the colonist.

A: Well, the projects at ModMeters would be to rework the entire IT budget without sacrificing manufacturing’s money (department that brings in most money), they also need to prepare to expand globally with new equipment and expanding architecture, along with getting new programs that talk better with each other and a new website. They need to be prioritized by which makes the most money in the quickest amount of time. Businesses cannot afford to waste time because it is directly connected to their finances. And again, they need to be budgeted by what benefits the company most. If it’s the manufacturing department that is their huge moneymaker, than they need to continue to feed manufacturing with cash. The budget has to be built around what ModMeters successful.
Cuyahoga Community College (CCC) is located in Cleveland, Ohio and has 3 campuses located in Downtown Cleveland (Metropolitan), Highland Heights (Eastern), Parma (Western), and Westlake (Westshore). CCC also has satellite sites for Workforce Development (Metropolitan) and the Brunswick University Center (Brunswick). CCC main objective is deliver high quality education while keeping tuition low. The main goal of the college is to successfully guide students to graduate with an Associate’s Degree and/or Industry Certificate. There are currently over 20,000 students enrolled in courses at CCC. I will be describing in this task the Academic Affairs division of the Western Campus.
