As a human being I understand how jealousy affects a person. Jealousy is a very powerful thing, that can be used to hurt people and even get revenge. Othello is not jealous of what others, but jealousy affects him when it comes to his wife Desdemona. Once someone messes with something he loves, Othello becomes outrageous.

Othello wasn’t really a jealous person, but Iago a trusty worth person by Othello manipulated him and got the wrong things into Othello’s head and took advantage of Othello’s trust. Iago says “O, beware, my lord, of jealousy! It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock The meat it feeds on”(Othello 3.3 165-167) Iago is advising Othello to be alert of the jealousy monster, that takes over his brain. He warns Othello that
