It was the summer of ’95 and one day I woke up and felt really sick. I lived alone ever since the passing of my dear husband, John, since I lived alone I needed someone to take care of me just in case something really horrible went wrong! Well anyway, I had called my daughter that morning and she sent little red riding hood on an adventure to get to my house to spend the night. About 45 minutes later I heard a loud knock on the door, being the curious
It was one of the best days of my life and soon one of the saddest days. When I was 5 years old I got one of the best gifts any kid good ask for. I’ve always wanted one and was so glad when I laid eyes on her. Before I go into detail why not just start from the very beginning. One evening, my little brother and I was watching tv with my mama when I heard my mama talking to my dad on the phone saying “what you mean you have a surprise?” When I heard that, I knew that It had to be something really intriguing. Minutes later I could hear the sound of the tires running over rocks and an engine running. It turns out that It was my daddy pulling into the driveway, so I had gotten even more anxious to find out exactly what the surprise was. My mama, brother, and I all waited in the living room, ready to find out exactly what my daddy was surprising us with. He finally walked in but in his hand was a box with holes in the top.
It was Christmas Eve. My brothers and I sat on the livingroom floor. The Christmas tree lights dimly lit the room. We sat around my mother who was sitting on the couch while my Father was looking for The Night Before Christmas
When we went to Lubbock to go visit are the family, we has to stay at my grandmas house and it was cold in their house because they didn't have their heater on we told them to put it on but they never listen to us. So we all just wrapped ourselves in blankets. We celebrated Christmas with my dad's side of the family for the day. We eat ham and other sides that they made with it and we opened gifts, all I got was some clothes. The next day we celebrated with my mom's side of the family. We ate tacos, beans, and chips and after that we opened presents and we played bingo. Then the next day we went back home, back it was time to go back.
One day my mom came and found me and my sister and told us we had to go somewhere. We went and found our shoes and started heading out the door. My sister and I started hoping down the front steps just about running into a vehicle parked out front. My mom told me and my sister to get in, both of us were kind of scared but we did it anyways. So me and my sister attempted getting into the big vehicle, well it may not have been that big, but to us it seemed like it was. We drove for what seemed like hours till all of a sudden the car stopped. I opened the door and hoped out onto the cold hard cement. I didn’t know where we were at, I had never seen this place before. The people in the car and my mom told us to go up to the front steps and they will be right behind us. So me and my sister made our way up the steps and to a big front door. We looked and found a doorbell and chose to push it. After just a little while the door opened and this younger couple looked down at us with huge smiles on their faces.
As soon as we pulled up me and my brother Spencer jumped out of the car like we were bungee jumping, although I still kinda felt really sick, but there was no time to chicken out and ruin this perfect day so I sucked it up and went with it. We took the Six Flags bus to get closer to the park. The bus had a circle in the middle that spun so I asked my mom if I could sit there and she said, yes! They were sitting in the front of the bus where I couldn't see them but it didn't matter. I felt like I was already on a roller coaster because every time he would turn a corner I would go flying. I looked out the window and saw the most beautiful tree I have ever laid my blue eyeballs on, in my life. All I could think of is I will never see a tree that beautiful in my life! After what feels like an hour on the bus I get really sick and tired of the “pretend rollercoaster” so I look out the window to see another really pretty tree! “My goodness they have a lot of beautiful trees” I say under my breath and think nothing of it. A few more minutes go by and the
On my 7th birthday my mom, dad, brother, my grandma and grandpa and I all went to Kemah Boardwalk it was right by the the cool gulf of Mexico. I went on all the fun rides except 2. One of the rides I went on was a train that would go in a dark tunnel then “BOOM” it was a gun showdown but of course it was fake. Then I went on a ride that you were in a circularised room with big windows. We would go up and a person would talk to you about the gulf of Mexico and you could see the gulf of Mexico. My head was getting dizzy so I sat down. Then I went on a roller coaster that was made entirely out of wood the one thing that was not out of wood was under the cool cart. It was huge. When we went on it was crazy at one point we went straight down when I got off my stomach was in a knot I felt like I was going to throw up.
We got in my dad’s truck and headed to our house. I still remember this like the day was yesterday my dad turned to me and my brother and said “I hope you boys never have to experience anything like this ever again In your life’s.” We got back to our house and it was perfectly fine. A tree fell across the road which would become our tree house for weeks to come. There was no power what so ever so at night there was no air or lights. My dad pulled a mattress into the living room and me, mom, and my brother laid on it and my dad would sit up all night basically fanning us with a huge piece of card

During the fall of senior year, I joined the cross country team to help prepare and condition me for the track season, in the spring. Skeptical at first, I knew that I didn't have any endurance since I only sprint over hurdles during the track season, but little did I know that the weeks were passing and the end of the cross country season arrived. Though I was one of the inexperienced long distance runners, I knew that I ran the fastest I could because when I crossed the finish line I had an overwhelming nauseous feeling. As someone who runs a short distance, I was proud of myself for making it to the end of the season without quitting, especially since cross country is running for a long distance, which other sports make their athletes do
Five hours go by and here I was watching my family make Christmas cookies and listen to Christmas music. They were laughing and singing, just how I wanted it to be. Mom and Dad shared a kiss and Ann made puking noises. When they were done with the cookies, they went into the living room and turned on 25 Days of Christmas. It was tradition to watch Christmas movies and eat cookies that night before. After a little while they fell asleep and I went off into my “dream land”.
One lovely day my dad, brother, uncle, my cousin, and I were hanging out at lake watauga and taking ride out on the pontoon boat and tubing. We were talking on our pontoon boat at the dock and then it started to rain. Then I hear a big train coming fast at me. It was so scary because my brother cousin and I were freaking out. We sprinted up to our yurt, and my uncle hid in a shed a my brother and cousin were in the bathroom scared while my dad and I were trying to hatch down the yurt. Then all the rain lifted and there was a wall of rain and all the power went out. It was really frightening my dad tried closing the doors but they wouldn't close and he was thrown back from all the wind. So once he shut the doores he couldn't lock
It was a cool winter evening at my house in Leedey Oklahoma. I was so excited to get home because we got to open an early Christmas present. We got home then went into the livingroom to find a box in the middle of the room. We all gathered around the box then she said we could open it. I reached down and opened it to find the most adorable little black and white puppy sleeping in the box. It was love at first sight.
When I was a kid in Lakewood Washington I had always loved Halloween and going trick or treating. I was going to be a ghoul that year and I had just gotten home from school and I said “Mom, mom where are you.” and I see Torin my little brother in his crib crying my moms door was open and I walked in to look for mom and I see her dead in the closet hanging.
When my mom was driving there was a tunnels with lights on the ceiling. When we got in it was really cold in there. When we got there my mom and stepdad had to check in
