Every story or even a personal experience always has an obstacle or disadvantage. However, there is a way out of turning those difficulties from your life into something meaningful like being able to figure out a way to turn it into a lesson that you could learn from that. It matters to everybody because, without these complications, none of us could assimilate from anything just like we have responsibilities and discipline to educate ourselves. Therefore, any obstacle or disadvantage can certainly be turned into something good out of anything we face too because it will assist us to upskill in life even though there is a multitude of implications of some situations that cannot turn into something good for many reasons. We will all have some
Overcoming adversity is a challenge that everyone has to face. Some good examples of people who overcame adversity are the Boston Marathon runners, John J. Pinder, and Malala Yousafzai. They all had challenges to face, but they never gave up. Overcoming adversity is going to be hard, but the ending will be worthwhile, that’s why patience is needed to overcome adversity. Life is like a roller coaster, full of ups, downs, inside outs, sometimes you may start out slow, but as you go along, you speed up, in adversity, it may take some time to think about how to overcome it, but you’ get the hang of it and will eventually overcome it. Malala was faced with a lot of problems and challenges, but she pulled through and overcame adversity.
Obstacles are unavoidable parts of our lives. Obstacles constantly come in the way and slow us down. However, these obstacles should not be viewed as being harmful. They are essential factors in order for one to succeed. They can change the course of one’s life, and encourage one to work harder. Therefore, obstacles can be beneficial.
same thing. But that’s not the point but you can change a negative into a positive someway. Yes, obstacles and disadvantages can be turned into something good because you will know
The Byzantine Empire, seen as a direct continuation of the Roman Empire, lasted approximately from 500-1450 CE. This empire proved to be a valuable city for both the Greeks as well as the Romans. Throughout history, the Aegean Sea, the Bosphorus Strait, and Constantinople all impacted Roman history through constant trade and achievements. Other than trade, perfecting the oil industry, and the construction of aqueducts, conduits, and tunnels was other main achievements.
Hardships have the power to make a break a person, as Roman poet, Horace, once said, “Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant”. Everyone has or will have to face adversity at some point in their lives, it is a universal truth. Although misfortunes usually have a negative connotation, depending on the struggle and how one deals with it, it is likely the person will come out of misfortune better prepared for the world. Contrastly, if a person never experienced any hardships, they would lack a sophisticated understanding of the world and lack the ability to handle difficult situations. Adversity gives people strength they can not obtain with success.
Duke Ellington, the legendary jazz pianist, said that a problem is a chance to do your best, and I agree with him. When people learn from their problems, it can help them in many ways. They can learn how to do things better in the future, they can learn more about themselves and what they like or dislike, and they can even be used to help someone who is having trouble with the same issue(s).
Roman Poet, Horace’s quote says, “Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant.” I agree with his stand on adversity because though it may seem bad, it can lead to finding your true self. If one was not put under enough duress. Then they wouldn't find out what type of person that are now will they find out how they will react to certain things. Having your character developed even more so may potentially lead to a brighter future, because then you may qualify for a position somewhere you want to be.
I have chosen Mentuhotep II was a pharaoh of the 11th dynasty who ruled for 51 years. In preparation for my first visit to the Denver Art Museum I browsed their numerous extravagant collections online. I was taken back by the wide range of skilled artwork as well as impressed. I spent hours completely entranced by the artwork. When I was done viewing the gallery virtually I questioned whether or not I should even still visit the actual museum. I felt that I had just had the same experience only free and from the comfort of my couch. Fortunately, my sister convinced me into going with her and I have not regretted it since! Viewing artwork in person is far more beneficial than viewing it from a virtual gallery.
We are often exposed to face daily obstacles in our lifetime, however as much as these obstacles seem to have an appearance of bad luck, they can sometimes be turned out to help us in our advantage. These impediments often help us find another solution for complications that we have no power over, like my mother always said, “When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.” Therefore, whenever I am involved in a specific hurdle I tend to make the best out of whatever I can. I believe that by having these certain complications in your life, you are taught to overpower these difficulties, become a stronger individual, and also to become independent.
I do believe that any obstacle or disadvantage can turn into something good. I know this because people learn from their mistakes. Some people give up or lose hope when they are encountering an obstacle. Anything can be make up by thinking or a wise decision.
Any obstacle or disadvantage can be turned into something good because no matter how hard the obstacle is to overcome there can always be a positive outcome. For example, in the novel “The Outsiders” no matter how bad Ponyboy was treated and all the problems
Throughout my life I faced a lot of challenges. I had to overcome the obstacle that was on my way. The obstacle made me stronger and made me the person who I am right now a ambitious and hardworking student. The problem shaped me up because I know that I have to work for what I want and to not depend on no one, this made me more independent. Also, I learned from my mistake and try to do better.
There are many things in life that might have a difficult perspective ,but if you try those obstacles it can lead to something amazing. Often people say or think that something might be hard and they see it as an obstacle ,but until they try it they won’t see the good that it could bring to them. Other belive that a “bump in the road” is important or that it matters because you learn from those bumps ;therefore, i consider them favorable. For example, most people don't drive a car because they believe it's a hard obstacle although they won't know the good that it can do by take them place without having to wait around for others.
What is life? Life consists of experiences, challenges, and achievements; all of which are building blocks that essentially create ones path to success. In one’s lifetime they can experience tough and difficult challenges. Sometimes these challenges become unbearable, especially when the odds are against you. However, going against all odds is something everyone is capable of doing, and to overcome these challenges everyone needs to have a “never quit” attitude in life. If we develop it, we'll overcome quite a bit.
