The cardiovascular system - The cardiovascular system is responsible for transporting nutrients and removing gaseous waste from the body. It consists of the heart, which powers the whole process, the veins, arteries, and capillaries, which deliver oxygen to tissue at the cellular level. The cardiovascular system carries blood that is low in oxygen away from the heart to the lungs via arteries, where oxygen levels are restored through the air once oxygenated, this blood is then carried throughout the body via arteries, keeping our organs and tissue alive. The cardiovascular system is the workhorse of the body, continuously moving to push blood to the cells. If this important system ceases its work, the body dies. One should choose what they would want to do or what they feel personally would be best depending on ones level of fitness. As prescribed medicine from one’s doctor make help. This was a very interesting article basically now that cancer has been around for more than 35 years we are getting more and more survivors. Due to chemotherapy the survivors are coming back with many cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, arrhythmias and heart failure. At the time “the use of exercise to ameliorate chemotherapy HF had not been studied.” But scientist still believed that exercise benefited the individuals facing cancer. Regular exercise can improve such things such as controlled body weight, improved endurance, reduced fatigue increase muscle strength, improve physical functioning, and can help reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases, and can improve every day functions/ symptoms of life. Before researchers conducted a test of their own they found out that breast cancer survivors that exercised had decreased pain and lower blood pressure. At the time their were no result to cancer survivors with Heart failure due to HF patients “not being eligible” the goal of this is to conduct a randomized control trial of an exercise intervention for cancer
