This is Abdulftah Yahia. I want to let you know that I have completed my student teaching and will complete my degree by August. I will be a certified teacher in Social Studies by the upcoming school year. As you know, I would love to teach at Strong. I believe my connection with the students and parents makes it an ideal situation for me. As a person who grew up in Yemen and in Melvindale, I could help the students adapt to their new surroundings. In addition, I am familiar with many of the Yemeni families living in Melvindale. I would love to help in fostering our overall development as a community in terms of education and assimilation. All in all, I am confident in my abilities to work with students and find myself to be a strong candidate
Nurse practitioners (NP) are committed to serving communities, patients, and other health care professionals. They are trained to operate within a prescribed scope of practice. This means that patients can be assured of receiving optimal health care services. Despite this, battles still remain regarding the scope of practice for NPs. Some physicians are uncomfortable, unsupportive, and impediment the progress made for NS. With this, the issues of restraint of trade surfaced as an argument against the NP scope of practice. According to Miller (2010), NPs are working to achieve consensus in all states for Np scope of practice, while physicians are inclined to safeguard their profession as they assert that NPs are extending into their territory.

I believe my cumulative employment, education, and life experiences, as well as my passions, and vocational direction have uniquely gifted and prepared me to excel in the AGACNP program at South Carolina and to become a compassionate, skilled, servant to my city. I believe strongly in an incarnational and missiological modality of medicine as it relates to nursing, and I am confident that my skills, coupled with Carolina’s uniquely crafted program will enable me to serve a grossly under-served population, and further the field of advanced practice nursing through effective practice which utilizes the most current evidence to improve care. The homelessness of my father developed in me a strong passion for serving those in greatest need and

n the How a Member Decides to Vote module you are asked to act as a congressman and vote on the flag desecration amendment. This amendment was proposed to punish people that desecrated the flag by burning, spitting, walking on, or anything else that would belittle the flag. By doing this you learn to look at the many different viewpoints that were presented to you in the activity to try and sway your vote. These viewpoints includes those of people like William Cramer and Tony Lorenza that say by disrespecting the flag that it dishonors the thousands of men and women who have died protecting the flag, or the viewpoints of people like Carole Richards, Ed Carpenter, and Alberta Washington that said that it is what the people of the country and your district, that you are representing, wanted to be done. The people for the amendment also stated that burning the flag wasn’t a way of speech that it was a violent act that people should be punished for. The people such as Tanya Johnson, Patricia Pearlman, and Anna Ross that say that voting for this amendment would violate the First Amendment and would violate one of the important principles of our democracy and would make our government more totalitarian. Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor! All hail, Macbeth that shalt be king hereafter!" Macbeth then sends a letter to Lady Macbeth to tell her the news about the prophecy, which
