The vision of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) service project is to create a Reflective Room to improve the student experience here at Ridgewater College. Many of our students struggle to have a quiet place at the college or at home to have some time to themselves allowing them to destress. It is our chapters’ (Alpha Eta Zeta) mission to bring a safe space to its students where they can take time out from the stressor’s of college life.
The old Vet Center, room S14 in its current condition has the potential to be this room. We would like to add a few yoga mats, which we can acquire from Student Life, otherwise leaving the room as is. Keeping the furnishings minimal in the Reflective Room. The PTK vision for the Reflective Room is that it will be
As Brothers of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and as diligent students, we portray specific core values in everyday interaction not only with each other but also in business experiences and ethical
Romley to fixate more onto her past college years. I asked her what her favorite memory about the University of Arizona. Her response was of a memory when she went “to see the beaches of California with three of her sorority sisters”. Her answer sparked these next two question that came to the top of my head. I asked what clubs or organizations she was involved in here at the UA and where did she live her freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year of college. She said she lived in the Coronado dorm her freshman and sophomore year of college. Mrs. Romley then explained that the Coronado dorm, that is still apparent on our campus, used to be an “all girls dorm and not known for its partying and loudness.” In both her junior and senior years of college she lived in her sorority house, Kappa Kappa Gamma. She was apart of Greek life, specifically KKG, and the Panhellenic organization during her years in college. Suddenly I started to think about the layout of the campus so I asked her what her favorite spot on campus was at the time. She acknowledged that “The entire campus is beautiful and I could not pick a favorite spot because I enjoy the whole aspect and feeling the campus gives its students.” She stated that no features, at the University of Arizona stood out to her, but the biggest improvement on campus is the recreation center facilities. It was a pleasing experience to watch and listen to

Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Incorporated purpose is to be of service to all mankind dealing with critical issues in communities domestically and internationally. What I have grown to understand an envision a woman of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated to be, I accredit largely to the ladies of the Gamma Theta chapter. This has the result of attending many of the chapter’s events during my time at Hampton thus far. One of my favorite events was a screening of a documentary Girls Rising. I learned to appreciate every opportunity to learn and gain knowledge because in some parts of the world girls are restricted from receiving an education. A
The majority of AYSO's organization is comprised of volunteers from all over and because of this, AYSO cannot afford to have a training program that does not work successfully. When a volunteer signs up to be a coach, the organization cannot expect all of them to be experienced with soccer. Due to this, the training program needs to be adaptable to all skill levels. With the only training a coach goes through is a small class usually held at the region and two or three online classes regarding ensuring the safety of players but not regarding the depth that most games go to. This may be enough for a coach who is only planning to stay for a year and is familiar with the sport but if
The Administration for Children and Families mission is to “foster health and well-being by providing federal leadership, partnership and resources for the compassionate and effective delivery of human services” (ACF Vision). The Administration for Children and Families works on many levels to help build an overall good well-being for our youth, families, communities, and country that we can by educating and offering supportive services.
It is important to have a vision statement for the workplace and to follow the vision/mission to maintain values and ethical behavior. It seems that TDOC focus much on safety regarding employees and inmates. As you stated without the vision statement it will cause problems among the organizations. However, with strong management working to uphold the principles of the facility makes an organization run well by having the employees following the vision as well.
“This is what Phi Theta Kappa is all about, the community of scholars,” said Straus at the gathering, “The mission of Phi Theta Kappa is to promote enthusiasm in scholarship, leadership and character.”
When you step out of this room to the photography room on the right your feelings within the surrounding change once again. In the first room of the museum the tile is white and thus reflects light, creating yet more light in the surrounding area. The walls go from light and colorful shades to a medium tinted of gray creating a more plain mood within the room. In the side room full of photography the flooring changes from white large stone tiles to wood panel flooring. The opening to this second room is an opening the wall rather than another doorway but instead of the opening stretching all the way up to the ceiling, there is a thinner horizontal plank at the top that is an almost metallically aluminum color. The space is divided up
Dr. Bridgeforth, Thank you for reaching out to me for my consideration on this issue and allowing me to assist on the deliberation of it. When I think about the question at hand I first think to myself, is this a need or a want of the chapter and or advisors of Alpha Gamma Delta. When I spoke with Melanie I learned that she did not have the correct involvement in the chapter to truly give the answer that I think you were seeking, however my conversation with her did bring up several questions that I am sure you are already considering yourself. My first question is, what empty room is Sally talking about?
Pursuing the dream of obtaining membership into the First Intercollegiate Greek Fraternity for African Americans, Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. is one of very few ultimate goals in my life. An organization that was founded to stimulate the ambitions of its members and prepare them for great usefulness within the community has since become one of the most well respected organizations in America. Over one hundred years later, the pivotal movement in 1906 has spread to over the entire country in different collegiate chapters and cities across America and the impact has been tremendous. Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. was vaguely introduced to me as a child but it did not take effect until I started school at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
From a time when achievement was rare, and succeeding among minority was minuscule, a sense of order was needed. During this time Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated came into the world, bringing core values and achievement. Within the five objectives Kappa Alpha Psi showcases the distinction of itself from other fraternities. The founding fathers had the desire to shape a unique group personality different from the other greek letter college organizations, around the idea of achievement. Thus bringing about the Five Objectives that men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated live by and exemplify on a day to day basis showcasing Achievement in every field of human endeavor.

I am going to discuss what the vision, mission and value statements are and how they are important to our business. Each statement has different qualities which I will discuss in my presentation. The future of our business and the Vision of who we are goes with our philosophy and ideals of who we want to be.
The mission statement gives a knowledge view into the company’s culture, which connects closely with the history and the development of company over period of time. The first mission statement of FPT is “Cùng đi tới thành công"– “Succeed together” and the present logo is “Tiếp nguồn sinh khí- Energizing Life” also hold the meanings like that. The common point of these statements is short, memorable and concise phrase. FPT established the slogan “Cùng đi tới thành công” in 2005, however, this slogan was not seem to be closely with customers, even some specialist asserted that it is quite emotionless and unmotivated. With the consultancy of the international media corporations, the mission statement of FPT was changed into “Energizing Life”.
