Introduction:
The Empire controls and maintains the most formidable fighting force in modern times. Regardless of the expanse and control the Imperial force has gained over the past millennia, the Empire is not invincible. The Empire has significant weaknesses that may be exploited and used to the advantage of the Rebels. The Empire’s reach is vast and its fighting force is strong, but it is also oppressive, violent, and authoritarian- it is a force that if left to its own devices, will continue to spread its disease of violence and fascism across the galaxy.
Strengths:
The Empire’s most notable strength is derived from the sheer numbers of its fighting force, the expanse of its reach, and the variety of its weaponry and personnel. The

The Empire is a totalitarian regime. All political power is concentrated in one titular head- Emperor Palpatine- and the military is structured in the same manner. Its fighting force is led by Darth Vader- the puppet-ruler of the Emperor. Emperor Palpatine leads the Empire on a political and administrative level while giving general order to Darth Vader, who executes the day to day functioning of the military.
As one author writes, “In the Empire, everything is handled from the top down—the military submits their plans, the Emperor approves it” (Adams 2012). While Emperor Palpatine It is also important to note that, as with most totalitarian regimes, Darth Vader rules the military with an iron fist and ensures loyalty by using violence against any who question his power. Darth Vader is known to kill off his subordinates if his plans are not executed in the manner he desired them to

Without Darth Vader, the Empire’s military operations will not be sustainable. Emperor Palpatine is incapable of leading a military force without Darth Vader’s assistance. If Darth Vader were to be removed from his position, Emperor Palpatine would not be able to maintain control over the military for long. There are no other leaders currently in the Empire that are capable enough of taking Darth Vader’s role.
Removing Darth Vader would be possible by initiating an insurgency. Though an assassination by Rebel forces would be the easiest and quickest route to take, Darth Vader’s strength, wit, security forces, and capabilities render an assassination nearly impossible, even by well-trained troops. The only assassination attempt that might be possible is one executed by an inside group. Any type of orthodox, bounty-hunter style assassination attempt would be seen in advance by the Darth and subsequently
The Roman Army was the most important factor that led to the Romans maintaining such a large empire. The army was very well organised into many groups, and the whips kept by the group leader ensured that the army would be obedient and
Each empire has its own unique strengths and differences that aid in their emergence, growth, and decline. While there are many differences between empires, there are fundamental similarities that are common throughout every society. The Han, Mauryan, and Roman Empires all have different strengths and differences, but are fundamentally the empires are similar in their primary doctrines.
The Roman Empire flourished for many reasons. It welcomed local customs and religions, had a strong military, and they were the greatest road builders of the ancient world allowing trade to flourish. Roman law was fair to all with just regulations and rules, and conquered people were offered Roman citizenship.

“Following a decree from Hitler, the Reichstag and Reichsrat both passed what is known as the Enabling Act, effectively giving the chancellor the power to enact laws without those legislative bodies” (Horton, 1). In both cases, these newly empowered chancellors were able to lead their people to war using a secret army each had been building. For Palpatine, that army was a clone army, which he created in secret many years before the beginning of the Clone Wars. In Germany, the secret task began years before Hitler became chancellor. As a result of the treaty of Versailles in 1919, Germany was banned from building weapons of war, and etc.

The bad things that happened to the Jedi order were the results of their millennia of non-virtuous acts. The Jedi, throughout their many years of power, committed almost every single non-virtue, and did many of them with the wrong views and with a harmful intent due to their arrogance. So Anakin was just an instrument of karma that actually cleansed the bad karma that the Jedi had built up. In that way, he fulfilled the prophecy, bringing balance to the force by balancing the karma of the Jedi. Therefore, the true blame for the destruction of the Jedi lies with the Jedi, not
The central character appearing in all six movies in the Star Wars saga is Darth Vader, who is formerly known as Anakin Skywalker. The powerful and well known Roman army was another key factor in maintaining the empire. The Roman army was large, well equipped, well trained, disciplined and skilled military force that was stationed throughout the empire to prevent uprisings and crush rebellion. Military training was a very important and arduous affair in the Roman Empire. It was essential for each soldier to achieve a high level of skill in fighting and using their weapons. They also had to march 30 kilometers 3 times a month wearing 20kg armor, do drills twice a day, learn to build camps, swim, mount and ride a horse and fight mock battles. The Roman army was quite ruthless when it came to crushing rebellion. They did not hesitate to hurt or even slaughter the people who went against the Roman rule.
As can be seen, the Roman Empire was great for its time in more ways that one, with its undefeatable strength and size . It was greater than the empires before it

These Myths of Empire are: (1) The Domino Theory: Cumulative Gains and Losses; (2) Offensive Advantage; and (3) Paper Tigers and Bandwagons. The first myth is the argument that one loss will inevitably lead to many more losses, while conquest increases power because it adds human and material resources, which can then be used in later competition against other great powers. The second myth is the argument that the best defense is an effective offensive. In other words, cumulative gains can only be achieved through aggressive action and passivity only brings defeat upon states. The third myth is the argument that threats make other states compliant rather than implement countermeasures against them. In the face of threat, third parties will jump on the bandwagon rather than create an alliance with other states to balance the power of the most threatening state. Snyder states that in the third myth, “the basic principles of the balance of power are held to operate in
HP has long been one of the largest and best-respected companies in technology for decades. The company had made multiple M&A throughout the years, some very successful and others not so much. However, the acquisition of Autonomy (of around $11 billion) has earned HP a spot among the worst, most value-destroying acquisition deal of all time. This acquisition deal was said to be a disaster almost from day 1. The decision has been proved controversial, with many shareholders claiming that HP has over-paid. Although nobody could have really guessed the outcome of this deal, they were a few red flags that were raised throughout the entire process that could have saved HP its pride and money. In M&A, post-deal closing surprises are more common than one may think. Of course, a surprise of this magnitude is huge and clearly points to mistakes on HP’s part. Nonetheless, several lessons could be learned from HP’s misfortune. First, the acquiring firm should have a pre-acquisition protocol and respect it. Second, if a red flag is raised, and how ever insignificant, needs to be thoroughly inspected and cleared before continuing. Finally, there should be a post-acquisition plan put in place beforehand and the company should follow it.
