In this article, two researchers, Pam Mueller and Daniel Oppenheimer, explore the various factors of handwritten notes versus laptop taken notes. Cindi May says, “Laptops do in fact allow students to do more, like engage in online activities and demonstrations, collaborate more easily on papers and projects, access information from the internet, and take more notes.” All of which are true, but Mueller and Oppenheimer proves that the innovative technology is not always a good thing.
