Imagine standing in a paradise where the sun invariably shone, the tropical breeze was invigorating, everyone was smiling, and the fun never stopped. Welcome to the wonderful country of Panama!
To our disadvantage, it was hurricane season in the Caribbean we had to go elsewhere, which led us to Panama. Since everyone was longing for a vacation, we picked a five star resort that will best fulfill our desires.. As a result, our family went on vacation in the end of August as it was winter in Panama, so the weather was just right for a week of relaxation.
Notably, from the moment our plane landed, we were greeted with the beaming faces of local residents. Once we were on the bus we headed straight to the resort, which was enclosed by a gate.

The best time to visit this tropical gem is between December and April, when the weather is at its best. Keep in mind, however, that this is the busiest season for tourism, so you might pay a bit of a premium for your trip. Summer is hotter and more humid, but it is also a relatively cheap time to visit. Storms afflict Cancun in the fall, so you may want to avoid planning your trip between September and November.

The title of Philip Roth’s novel, Goodbye, Columbus, is symbolic of the journey one must take to define one’s individuality or discover one’s life purpose. Superficially, the title is a reference to the ending lyrics of Ron’s senior yearbook album as well as the physical location of Ohio State University in which Ron Patimkin graduated from. With closer analysis, it becomes evident that the title extends to a much deeper meaning of the overall theme of self-examination and self-identity for the protagonist, Neil Klugman. The title, Goodbye, Columbus, primarily acts as an essential metaphor between the expedition Christopher Columbus takes in search of a westward route to India and the life journey Neil embarks upon to discover his identity both in terms of his socioeconomic status and Jewish heritage. The title both clarifies and foreshadows the fate Neil ultimately realizes as he pursues a relationship with Brenda Patimkin.
There is an ongoing problem in our society regarding punishment and responsibility. We, as a society, tend to look away when it comes to how criminals are being punished and maybe we should be paying more attention. Violence seems to be an integral part of our society, some raise their children with violence, we watch it on television, read it in newspapers and books and now we are even playing violent video games. When it comes to the judicial system the majority of citizens do not even know how individuals are being punished or if the punishment is too harsh, not severe enough or if the individual even needs punishment because what they may need is psychiatric help.
The Piranha River Story is a compelling short story about the love between Beyoncé and Pat. Thankfully it was not as cold as I was worried it might be upon arrival, but we agreed we’d still rather be in Florida. But after we got to snuggle grandbabies, we were glad to have made this visit.
The culture and political structures of Panama as we know it today has evolved from an incredibly diverse and interesting history. Geographically, Panama lies on an isthmus, a strip of land that essentially connects the greater landmasses of North and South America. It is believed that volcanic activity in the late Pliocene era closed the former Central American Seaway that had separated the two continents. The climatic implications of this landform are incredible, allowing for the redistribution of oceanic currents and the formation of the Gulf Stream of the Atlantic of today.
Smelly, insect infested, and disease ridden are many words that people have used to describe the attributes of wetlands in our country. Until recently it was thought that wetlands served very little use as a part of our ecosystem. However, as the developers began to drain and destroy these wetlands in order to build housing developments and commercial buildings environmental scientists emerged from the woodwork. These environmental scientists found the value and absolute necessity for wetlands and brought it to the attention of politicians. The politicians are the only ones who could slow the destruction of wetlands with their policies.
Central America Central America, just south of Mexico and North of Panama, consists of just six countries; Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Of those six, all share a distinct common history except for Belize. Belize for one is incredibly small, and while Spanish is the official language of other Central American countries, in Belize English is spoken. So throughout this paper as I carelessly say 'Central American' I am not including Belize whose history and development was far different than the others. Although Central America is located close to the United States in relation to the Eastern Hemisphere, our ways of life are indescribably different.
We went at the end of March. This is when I would want to go back because it is not too hot and not too cold. When we were there is was very warm and sunny. At night it would rain. This would cool it down and you could sleep better.

Located ten degrees north of the equator Costa Rica is in the tropics and even though it is a small country it has a very diverse landscape and a variety of weather as well.
The best vacation my family ever took was one that we didn’t stress on planning. My husband and I kept it simple. We packed our bags early and hid
