“Pandora’s Box” and “Loo-Wit, the Firekeeper,” are similar because they both use character's actions to help prove the distinctive themes. The theme in, “Pandora’s Box,” is even in the darkest times, there will be hope. Zeus releases his anger in a very passionate and angry way. He tricks Pandora into releasing all the evil in the world because her brother-in-law gave fire to the human race. This is Zeus’ way of punishing Prometheus. On page 479 it says, “ ‘It is Hope,’ she said. ‘Do you think it will live?’ asked Epimetheus. ‘Yes,’ answered Pandora. ‘I am sure it will. Somehow I know that it will outlive War and Sickness and all the other evils.’” When Pandora says this, it really shows how the action
