Dante’s Inferno and Milton’s have different descriptions of Hell and Satan. Also they have some similarities, they both think Heaven is on the top, purgatory is in the middle, and heaven is at the bottom. With the similarities and differences the books are shown in their own each own special way, just like everyone else has there own opinion on what Satan looks like.
In Dante's Inferno there are nine levels of hell, which are described in circles. Each level will get progressively worse as you plunge deeper into hell.
