My name is Maria Gamino, student #0962693, and I am currently taking the Nutrition 300 class. I had reviewed the score for the Unit Participation Score and I noticed that I have a zero. The total possible points for each unit is 65. I know I will not get the 65 points since I had not participated in the discussion online, but I have done my assignments and attend to class. Could you please review my unit Unit Participation score? Thanks, Maria
On January 27, 2016, Elizabeth Lees stated that the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommend for people 18 and older to get tested for depression. Over the years they have gather quality evidence that shows the benefits of screening for depression. This screening is very accurate. So if a person is depress he or she is able to get treatment and the
I am submitting the enclosed resume for consideration of the data technician position in the nutrition services department at Beaumont Hospital – Troy. Very early in my life, I acquired a strong interest in nutrition and individuals who have special dietary needs. My continued interest has prompted me to take classes in exercise science/nutrition, human anatomy and biology in high school and college.
I am originally from west Seattle, but as of now living in Issaquah. I have decided to go back to school to get a degree hopefully in computer science. I am very interested to learn about nutrition and how food works within the human body. I have two children ages nine and eight. When I am not working or doing school work I use my free time to do fun activities with my children, husband and our dog Penny.
I would say that my grade for class participation should be a B plus. Even though I didn’t participated in class discussions as much as I did in the last unit, I did participated pretty well in group work, on Ram Pages and going to watch the FI film “An Honest Liar”. I believe overall, that, I believe I have the characteristics of a good contributor.
I had the opportunity to interview Robin Saucier a Clinical Nutrition Manager at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) for my Final Manager Interview Paper. The purpose of this manager interview was to understand more about the clinical nutrition field, learn what a Clinical Nutrition Manager duties are, and understand what they do. This assignment is a good networking experience to meet someone that is in my field of study and help me get more more information on how to focus more on clinical nutrition as a career.Since I have been taking medical nutrition therapy this semester I have been very interested in learn more about clinical nutrition and how to start a career being a clinical register dietitian.
Patient J.B. presented the office with chief complaints of coughs and sore throat that lasted about seven days. These symptoms are typically seen in respiratory tract infection or inflammation that is caused by viruses or bacteria. The initial differential diagnoses included Influenza, cough, common cold, community-acquired pneumonia, acute bronchitis, acute pharyngitis, and postnasal drip syndrome based on the chief complaints. The reason that why these differential diagnoses were considered is because they all have coughs as the symptom. Some of these differential diagnoses have both coughs and sore throat. JD, et al. (2017) states that Influenza A or B viruses can cause a dry cough and sore throat. Troullos,

Hi there, I'm Rachael. This is one of my first college classes let alone an online one. I just graduated from high school this past June. I am originally from New Hampshire but I am in the process of moving to Tennessee in the next couple of days. I am a Cybersecurity Investigations major, which yes I know is not very close to nutrition but most of my classes were not offered online so I decided to tackle some of my other prerequisites until I can get into a classroom again. The main reason I took this science elective was because on top of graduating high school, I also graduated from my technical school from taking culinary arts for the past two years. I love to cook and I try to make things as healthy as I can and understanding how all of
An important theme portrayed in the novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, is Discrimination. To discriminate is to make a judgement against someone, based on Race, Social Class or Gender. This was a very common undertaking in the early and middle 1900's so as this novel is set in the 1930's, the theme of discrimination is often prevalent. Although much of the discrimination was directed towards the people of colour, discrimination against the Social class and wealth of the people of Maycomb was very common, along with acts of prejudice aimed at girls and women. A short example of prejudice and discrimination in To Kill a Mockingbird, is that some people thought Blacks were not very intelligent because of their racial stereotypes. They weren't allowed to do anything but menial tasks (such as chopping wood) and hard labour because they were thought to be too simple-minded.
The balanced scorecard is a strategic planning and management system that was developed by Dr. Robert S. Kaplan and Dr. David P. Norton in the early 1990's. Their goal was to provide organizations with a clear understanding of what to measure in order to improve performance and results (Balanced Scorecard Institute 2014). The balanced scorecard is a framework that allows an organization to measure performance and compare it to the organization’s strategic objectives and goals (Kinney and Raiborn 2013, 10).
