Did you know that littering could damage the environment. I believe that people should pick up trash and not litter everywhere it could be a fire hazard also it is bad for people's health and it is bad for the environment. littering is a fire hazard. Also it is bad for the environment and it's bad for people's health. people's health cares and if we don't pick up the trash and stop littering we will be endangered and so make sure up stop littering and pick all of it up.
Take a moment to imagine the realization that a young boy came to when two of his favorite movies had a large plotline that was somewhat based on the problems of trash. Wall-E, the famous Pixar movie, was based on a small robot that was left behind on Earth’s surface alone. His job was to clean the garbage that the human population left behind when they went into space to escape their problems. Toy Story 3, another Pixar movie, contained a scene with garbage that was vital to the plot, in which the characters are rescued from a trash furnace that was consuming literally tons of trash a minute. These two movies tried to make the American population aware of the ever growing trash situation, however, Americans quickly forgot about the Earth shattering situation that they are causing. The solution to the world’s trash problem is easy; people need to be educated on the problems of trash and given an easy way to fix it. People should be required to visit a landfill, educated on the severity of the trash problem, and should be rewarded for changing their habits to improve the problem.
Have you ever thought about what your community would look like without litter? If so, it may take a while to find out. One person throwing something on the ground may not think much of it, however, when that trash finds other trash, they begin to build up and make big piles of junk. For example, I am sure people never thought that if they littered, their trash would end up in the pacific garbage patch. Believe it or not, no one thinks that until you look at the pacific garbage patch and see how disgusting it looks just because people were to lazy to throw their trash away. To make matters worse, littering has become very common, which should be stopped because in most cases, trash is not disposed of properly,
Why does people think littering is okay? People should not litter because it makes our city look bad. There are plenty of trash can in Anderson, for people to put their trash in instead of throwing it on the ground. I hate to see people litter. When people come from other cities to visit their family and friends that would make us look bad, because there trash all over the streets. It attracts vermin and bacterial growth and people that pick up those broken bottles and syringes are bad for them.
Pollution is an issue that could potentially cause damage and recycling conveys an important role. An issue we currently phase is trash segregation, students aren’t recycling or separating trash as they should. As mentioned earlier, mindset is just as important as action - they have careless, ignorant mentalities. What my project proposes, are two main part the action and the mentality transformation. The action idea is to develop as community service recicle trashcans with that from the outside look the same as what its entering in them, an example could be a trash can full that physically look like a plastic bottle, so students only troth there there plastic
It may seem harmless and innocent, but littering is an unhealthy habit people of all ages in each country do every day. Littering is a second nature to some people; after doing it for so long and often, they do not realize they do it. As more and more people continue to litter, environments, animals, and humans are being harmed by people’s carless actions. Americans, as well as all humans, need to be more aware of how hazardous and costly littering is to the world and the creatures living in it. Littering shows lack of respect for the world, and needs to be prevented in order for future generations to live in a clean and healthy environment.
Many people today don’t even see littering as a crime. Everywhere you go whether its streets, towns, or beaches there always seems to be an abundant amount of trash in the area. The fact that we Americans keep continuing to litter is horrible, it’s as if we think littering is a joke. A particular situation with littering happened to me as a student while in high school. We had taken a campus field trip to the beach every student was allowed to bring food, drinks, and even their own ice chest. As it was time to leave our supervisors notice all of the trash we students left. We thought it was no harm and continued to walk to our bus, but our supervisors didn’t like that. So they decided to make all of the students to pick up the trash we left and then they gave us a lecture about littering. As you see the adolescents are starting to care less about minor laws, my experience shows that this reality is becoming
On October 21,2016, a group of students challenged the ASB/Leadership groups on campus to the beautification of Chino Hills High School on Husky Highlights in front of the entire school community. ASB and Leadership being the dedicated groups that they are accepted the challenge from the group of students on beautification of the campus. Chino Hills High School is a great school with an even more beautiful campus. However, some of our Husky students tend to leave their trash around. Students in different clubs and organizations have come to notice this and knew they had to do something about it. Students took action and awesomely decided to pick up trash and beautify the campus and featured it on Husky Highlights. To keep this movement going,
Through my volunteering at the Henry Hudson Trail, I now understand better the problem of littering. Before this experience,
My first point in the idea of Crawford County Community Schools to get involved in preventing and cleaning up the litter that covers Crawford County is that it makes everyone who lives here look trashy. Many people that are passing by are happy town is immediately turned away by the sight of all the trash just hanging around by the streets and in the middle of no ware. No one wants people talking about are county like its nothing but a garbage can right? Well that’s what’s going to happen if someone does not
I have always been a strong advocate for community service and volunteering. One of my most meaningful activities was my participation in the school’s Interact Club. Interact Club is a club dedicated to volunteering and providing help to those who are less fortunate. Based in a suburban neighborhood, it is easy to miss any indications that someone around me is struggling, be it financially or physically. Suburban communities seem to be pretty closed off, and because of this, I joined the club in my school. Many of the activities include donating food through a food drive, fundraising, donating blood, and even cleaning up the environment around us. While it is surprising to see the vast amounts of trash that end up on beaches, it is also devastating
In order to reduce littering in Briarwood, one way is to make contact with the residents who have lived there most of their lives; the school within the neighborhood should raise awareness through a community day. Essentially, it would be taking the job of all the environmental clubs, but put it in one day. This day would be a school day, but instead of learning hypothetical subjects, they would learn about the potential risks of not cleaning up in Laurel, and get the chance to show what they learned. The demonstration part will have the students create their own project ideas to clean up the neighborhood, and to inform others. With an adult and a group, they would choose the best solution out of all proposed solutions, then get it approved.
My ecology action project will be on recycling water bottles and soda cans and cash them in for money to give to my school and church. My mom and step-dad will be driving me around town to pick up cans and water bottles. Numerous stores will also be asked if we will be able to put recycling bins in their stores. All of the bottles and cans will be put together and cashed in every one to two weeks depending on the amount. By doing this action the environment will be a little less messy and money will be given back to our community. This project will be done a little every day.
What I learned about myself during this project is that littering is a huge problem. Some of us do it without paying attention and some of us do it because we are just lazy. It really isn’t that hard to put trash where it belongs. I need to pay more attention to the long term effects of what I do are. I may say that it’s just one piece of trash, but I’m really just adding to a way bigger
As you walk down the packed streets of New York City, 8.3 million people are out and about. Its 7pm and you’re eating a granola bar headed to see the newest big hit on Broadway. Once you finish, you look around and realize there is no garbage pails anywhere nearby. So you toss your wrapper in the street and think nothing of it and casually walk away and go on with your evening……
