My career goal is to become a pathologist. Pathologists are like detectives, anxious to crack medical mysteries such as cancer, AIDS, and diabetes. Every disease that is on the surface of this earth is as important as the other because they have that same heartbreaking effect. One disease that I would care solve is cancer. I recently saw a picture of a little that was suffering from cancer, unfortunately, cancer won, but the picture is so heartbreaking because I can see the pain that she was in. That is just one example of the millions of individuals suffering from this disease. Everyone have one life to enjoy, I truly feel that if I am capable of finding a cure and erase this scare. I would love for a cure to be discovered sooner than later
f I could pick any career it would be a Pediatrician Nurse Practitioner for an Oncologist. Growing up I wanted to be what every other kid wanted to be: doctor, lawyer, princess and the list goes on. As I got into High School I found myself interested in a lot of the medical classes. My freshman year I was in Introduction to Health Science which lead me to join HOSA. I fell in love with the thought of helping others. My junior year I was involved in a clinical rotation where one hour a day I would go to the hospital and sit in on surgeries, comfort patients, do coffee runs and anything else I could get my hands on. Now going into my senior year I am going to have an internship for a Pediatric Oncologist in Rockwall. This is going to help me
The medical field is a career path that brings about many options and opportunities of great value. The noble idea of being a doctor tends to cloud the diligent studying and precise training that is actually required for this career. I have wanted to become a doctor since a very young age, and now that the opportunity is here for the taking, I have fully researched what it takes to succeed in this profession and various specialties of the practice. The road to a medical degree is one filled with thousands of notes, years of schooling, and many stressful nights, but the reward is one incomparable to any other. Saving people’s lives on a day-to-day basis has been one of my dreams for as long as I can remember, so the rigorous curriculum
Achieving Goals In School Can Lead To A Better Future Ever since I was a young boy i've always imagined myself going into a good university and pursuing a career in radiology. I have always been interested in becoming a radiologist because I am fascinated with the human body and how it self repairs in time. Having the ability to diagnose and treat people with medical high equipment such as; such as x-rays, CT scans , MRI scans, PET scans and ultrasounds. In all, I believe I am a great candidate to pursue a radiology career. I've had so many opportunities that have allowed me to explore this wonderful career.
For my Health Science 1 class we were instructed to choose 3 different careers. The careers to be chosen were a health care career, a career of disinterest, and a career we would like to pursue. I aspire to be a Cardiovascular Perfusionist because it would feel great to be able to prevent someone from dying pre- maturely. I dislike the real estate field because they don't make much money and they do entirely too much work for not much profit. I choose Neurology as my health care career because I like learning about the brain, how it works and how and why people get mental disorders.
My selected career would be an OB/GYN or something in the medical field. I am very interested in that career because it's inspiring how someone can have such a huge impact on people's lives. I became interested in being in the medical field at a very young age, and it is a huge goal of mine to stay true to my dream. From being at doctors offices and hospitals monthly and sometimes weekly when I was in elementary school, I am very used to being around doctors and medicine.
Many people often believe that hospital occupations are hard to achieve, in a sense it is, you must put in the work to achieve your goal. My goal is to become a radiologist, by doing the research I learned about a radiologist's job duties, required education, certain personality characteristics, work environment and the salaries as well as benefits of the job. The first traces of anything to do with radiology appeared on February 22, 1890, at the University of Pennsylvania in a physics lab (DiSantis, 2018). What are radiologists you may ask, radiologists, are trained physicians who specialize in the field of medical imaging. They execute and interpret medical images to aid in diagnosis and treatment of patients in facilities. Facilities include
The biology career that i choose to do my research paper project on was a Microbiologist which is a biologist that studies is a scientist who studies microscopic life forms like cells and processes or works in the field of microbiology. The job of a microbiologist is to study bacteria, virus, cells, and other organisms that can not be seen with the naked eye they do that so they can reroute viruses or bacteria that can harm humans to make life safe harm humans to try to reroute them and make them non harmful towards humans. A microbiologist would study ebola or the flu virus to come up with a cure. This means they have a part in health care because they cure diseases and/or fight against them. I will be discussing a Microbiologist from their
Did you know that 564,800 Americans will die this year due to cancer? Without pathologists, most cancers could go untreated or unfound. I believe that being passionate about pursuing pathology will help with a better outlook on education.
I feel that the world will always need people in the medical field. I want to discover cures, medicine, and ways to improve the quality of life. I want to be apart of a major breakthrough and reveal new things no one thought would be possible for a long time. I would love to see several changes in medicine and the field such as the prevention of diseases, making the public more aware of fatalities that can occur, and most of all to give people and animals a life that is enjoyable which people in the medical profession are entitled to do everything possible to make that
Most Universities are expensive and some people can’t afford to go to them which means that for the people who can go it will take a sizable amount out of their earnings and then on top of that you then have student accommodation to pay for which averagely costs £12,056 - £29712 per anum which piles up the pennies even more. But whilst you’re at Uni you will be working to make back the money and the further you get in to the profession of Pathology you can earn a comfortable salary of £26,350 to £102,500 .But to earn big salaries you have to be highly experienced and work in a private practice ,and most doctors will work because they know they are helping others not just for the money.
My career path is to be a nurse and help the unwilling and disabled... My dream is to become a successful person and influence the younger generation to the same for their
I hope to possibly work for a sports team and or be employed at Kaiser as a sports or shoulder and ankle specialist. I have seen so many sports specialist, but every time I pay a visit I am fascinated with all the certain types of specialty doctors have. I want to be different from some doctors though. Instead of calling me Dr. Thai I would want people to address me as just Jason, for the reason I believe that titles create barriers. Ultimately, my biggest goal would to one day travel the world to third world countries to provide help to those in need. With the knowledge obtained from college, I could work with others to make the lives of other abroad a life worth living. I am not pursuing this career for the money, but for the reason that I may help those who may not even be able to afford doctors. My aspirations now were shaped by my favorite aunt. My aunt was a dentist who sacrificed time with her family to take care of mine. She would give everything to see my family happy. I remember she sang the song "My Heart Will Go On" as I played the song on my trumpet. She passed away a couple years ago, and I was unable to thank her for all she has done. When it is finally my turn to join her, I can finally tell her thank you. Her heart truly did go on, and I am ready to work hard to achieve my goals. For now I make progress day by
My sights have changed as I have gotten older. I no longer want to become a medical doctor. I may in the far future decide to become a doctor but I would rather be a registered nurse because they deal with the patients more. I also prefer working with pediatric or gereatric patients. Whatever way that I decide to go I will always be helping someone, somewhere.
Trying to land a career in science can be quite challenging, but if I were to choose, I would definitely become a medical scientist. If you're wondering what a medical scientist does, he or she usually run medicine or drug tests on certain volunteer groups, and study the ways in which different chemicals and drugs interact with people. During this process, medical scientists follow safety procedures, such as interviewing their patients beforehand to figure out which medicine or drug works best for them, do tons of research, perform tests, write technical reports, and do everything they can to ensure the safety of the patient. After they have tested a patient, a medical scientist will monitor and examine any changes in their health and behavior, such as side effects, or any signs of success. The main duty of a medical
I am not sure where I will be in ten years or even what I will be doing, but I know that I would like to be making an impact in my community and helping others. The only way I can imagine contributing in this manner, that would allow me to incorporate my interests is through either direct contact with members of my community as a physician or indirect contact as a researcher. Throughout my adolescence, I have cycled between different career options all of which centered around my main goal of making an impact. Upon entering Agnes Scott College, I envisioned becoming a medical doctor as the primary way to achieve this like many of my peers in an introductory biology course. Much to my surprise, the first assignment in this course was to dissect
