The research explored the hypothesis that health and enjoyment are the main reasons for doing exercise as well as female engage less in doing exercise and perform gentle exercises. The study was conducted with 52 overseas students in Navitas English, Darwin. The students were given a questionnaire to complete which focused on choice of students in different types of exercise for long time, reasons for doing exercise and intensity of activities done by students.
