The person I am doing for my essay is Wesley Isenhour (my dad). He has a wife named Liane and two kids named Macy and Maddy. He works for the United States postal service and does reviews on post offices all around North Carolina. The reason I chose my dad is because he always makes people smile and makes everyone's day better. He is one of the best people in my life and is always there for me. I chose to evaluate my home church's missions program for this paper. A big part of this decision was curiosity; I had never in my five years at my home church heard anything of a well-formed missions program, and upon receiving this assignment became very intrigued. This is about when Gary Paulsen was growing up and how he came about loving books. Gary paulsen was born on May seventeenth, ninteen-thirtynine, he was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Paulsen didn’t have a great family so he first lived with his grandmother before he left at the age of seven. When he was seven years old he got a new family. Paulsens new mom took him to Manlia Phillippines to where his new dad was living. When Paulsens parents would fight he would get distreased. He ended up failing ninth grade because he couldn’t read books.

Spending much of her childhood in the German Coast of Acadiana, Darleen Jenkins holds on tightly to her family traditions. Moving from Luling to Houma, down to Dularge and back up to Houma again, she has been able to spot differences in the regions’ foods based on both time and place. She reminisces fondly of times when her family came together to share in meals and memories. Speaking with her one couldn’t help but to want to hear more about her childhood and transitions through adulthood.

My personal view of mission revolves around Servant Leadership or what can be better called “Incarnational leadership”. Officers are the ones who protect the people. They need respect from the communities and the society.“If I get knocked down six times, I will get up seven times”(White). Police officers go through a lot of things on patrol, but they never give up. They do everything by their might in order to serve and protect. Officers who patrol are the ones who interact with the community everyday. In the green bay area, each year Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) patrol officers’ respond to or self initiate over 80,000 calls for service in the city of Green Bay. That is an average of 219 calls for service per day and equals almost 1 call for service per resident of the city. “Although call volume spike during the warmer weather, the patrol officers handle at least 3,000 calls per month, even in the dead winter”(GBPD).

The book of Acts describes how Paul was ministering in Antioch with Barnabas, when he was directed by the Holy Spirit to be released from his Church duties. The Holy Spirit had another assignment for Paul, and that was to go and take the Gospel more widely. Some believe that this notion came from the Holy Spirit through fasting and prayer.
