Introduction

Changes in technology bring significance and advancement in our lives. From an industrial society, the researcher is in transition to an information society. The process of deriving in this transition and advancement of man are the computer and the people who strive to work for these changes. This advancement of computer had been a great factor in our daily living. Nowadays, computer plays a big role in many people live in the world we live in today. The setup is a standalone computer unit with larger memory, mass storage, monitor, keyboard and printer. The study limits only to the payroll of the employees of Robles Bakery. Monitoring of all the employees record is also being included in the system.

Definition of Terms

Casual Employee – An employee who is engaged to perform an activity not usually necessary or desirable to the course of business of the employer is hired under the terms of casual employment. Data – Refers to as facts, raw materials of information. Database – The collection of data that are commonly defined and consistently organized to fit the information needed by wide variety of users in organizing. Information – In its most restricted technical meaning, information is an ordered sequence of symbols. Paycheck - Is traditionally a paper document issued by an employer to pay an employee for services rendered. Payroll - Is the sum of all financial records of salaries, wages, bonuses and deductions. Record – A data structure; an item or collection of data. Software - Is a general term primarily used for digitally stored data such as and other kinds of information read and written by computers. System - Is a set of interacting or interdependent entities forming an integrated whole.
