The purpose of this memo is to provide supporting information for my pending performance review. In light of Kait Strong’s departure to work on Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign, I believe that my performance and work history demonstrate that I am capable of taking over her position as the Lead Upper School Teacher. In my tenure at Logos I have proven myself to be a hardworking, dedicated employee who is capable of tackling any challenge put in front of me. I have also gone above and beyond my stated responsibilities. In nearly all categories on my yearly performance reviews, Kait has consistently rated me as “exceeding expectations.” In the categories in which I have not exceeded expectations, I have responded by creating specific and measureable goals for improvement. I have consistently met these goals. This past year I have continued to exceed expectations in my work performance, and have taken on additional responsibilities wherever I have seen a need in our organization. Without specific direction from any of my superiors, I took on the role of senior advisor to help our first graduating class plan for their post-high school careers. This was an immense responsibility, as 80% of the students in our first graduating class were first-generation college applicants. I also organized the student …show more content…
As you well know, Logos faces unique challenges as a small nonprofit school. Sometimes this requires that its employees have a great degree of flexibility. When I was first hired at Logos, I was supposed to be a full-time Upper School teacher, but the need arose in the lower grades. I fulfilled this need wholeheartedly and to the best of my ability because it was what Logos needed at that time. In doing this, I proved that I am highly flexible and capable of tackling any challenge that is put in front of
Dr. David Bolton has had an interesting spring, to say the least. He has served in the capacity of the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education in Central Bucks for two years. At the end of Dr. Bolton’s second year, the retiring Superintendent planned to retire officially on May 30, 2016 but in a series of events involving new School Board members, he was asked to clean out his office on Monday, May 9, 2016. The Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education also retired early in March of 2016, leaving Dr. Bolton currently with the title of Substitute Superintendent until a new Superintendent begins on June 6, 2016. Dr. Bolton has been completing tasks since March as Elementary and Secondary Assistant Superintendents and Substitute Superintendent all at once. My original interview was scheduled with the outgoing superintendent during the week of his departure. In light of this complication, Dr. Bolton was gracious enough to answer my questions in an email but I was unable to interview him in person or on the phone due to his busy schedule.
With the help from my past experience and knowledge as president, I am able to govern and lead the school more efficiently. SCCA is known by the public in a more positive way now, and that makes me proud to say that I will be graduating from SCCA. Becoming ASB president is my most proudest achievement, and I am very upset that this is my last year of high school, but I can honestly say that I’m glad I got the chance to get my high experience at SCCA. I hope that in the future when I visit SCCA, as a college student, the school will be better than it is now, and that the legacy that I’ll leave behind will be remembered

In my role as a peer advisor, I feel I have made MCLA students feel welcomed during the first days program and the first semester in my first year seminar course. As a peer advisor, I have made the transition easier for incoming freshmen and transfers by being a resource, but most importantly being a friendly face. This role made me proud to be an upper classman at this college where I know that faculty and staff can depend on me and also where students can feel comfortable asking me questions and for advice. Going into my senior year, I was given the position of senior peer advisor which expanded my role from just helping the experience of incoming students, but also to the peer advising staff. I assisted in their training over the course
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my peers once again. Those of you who know me know I’m an entertainer. Well, you have all served as my audience throughout these four years, and you have motivated me in doing so. Your reactions to my personality and my creativity have been indicative and invaluable. I’ve learned more from all of you than from any teacher I’ve ever had. You taught me how to socialize. You’ve enlightened me on the facets of the human condition, the roots of happiness, and the dynamics of friendship. You have given me the life, the strength to keep me moving higher,
Second year arrived within the seemingly shortest time I could imagine. Reuniting with my friends, I was determined that even if my advisory had somewhat changed, I would make the most out of my year. “I still feel like a first year,” I told my friend-Selena-multiple times, receiving a chuckle in response. New first years were streaming the school, and I began to feel a new responsibility. This responsibility buzzed in my mind like a bee until carried out. I was now a leader. Although the opportunity was a somewhat rare occurrence, I took every chance with a great pride that warmed me from my head to toes. Yet, this
I wanted to make clear that the challenge and the reward in my position is in bringing recruitment, admissions, communications, and first year programs together to the benefit of shaping our class which includes their experience with us from outreach or prospect up until (in many cases) when they attend Gone to Texas. As we discussed, I am responsible for everything from making sure regular information sessions happen as they should to involving faculty in our recruiting efforts and ensuring the Assistant Director of FRI
First of all, I did not understood English very well, and second, I discovered that I was going to graduate two years later than what I thought; I became a sophomore instead of a senior, and I did not like that. I can still hear on my mind the bad comments that some important people from school told me about my capabilities, without knowing how hard-worker and determined I was going to be. About two weeks after I started my first semester, I realized that my English was good, and having that on mind, I decided to do my best to graduate in one
December 1993: Charlotte Beers assesses the progresses made by the company after she became CEO: she realizes that clients love the Brand Stewardship concept, but most employees, below executive levels, have not embraced the newly created Vison. The problem I will focus in this document is the following: the majority of employees did not embrace the new Vison. I will analyze why this is a key problem, why it is happening and I will propose steps to accomplish more acceptance.
At our gracious university we are given opportunities to become leaders and I have taken full advantage of that. As a leader, I possess qualities such as positivity, creativity, confidence, and commitment. Through my position as an At-Large senator, I am a liaison between students and faculty. This position has allowed me to be the voice of students and has given me the opportunity to reach back out to students and enlighten them on fun events put together by members in the senate and important information regarding our university. I took a leap of faith this past
I had become field commander of our marching band, I was the 2015 Hancock County Jr. Fair Queen, my mom got a new job as a teacher’s aid (which at the time she didn’t know she’d end up hating it, but for now she’s happy.), and I could finally say I was truly happy with the way things were going. The thought of being a senior scared but excited me at the time. I have gone to Liberty-Benton for thirteen years and am the fourth generation to graduate from L-B. I was so ready to finally begin a new journey as a high school graduate and a college freshman.
The workplace Memo assessment assignment enabled students to learn how to develop Business memos in Microsoft Office word documents. It also helped them learn how to discuss information with audiences in memos, it also showed students how to use Word bullets, spelling and grammar software tools to format, check and correct the information being used in this business documents. The workplace Memo assessment teaches them how to insert information from tables a business document and it showed students how to format their document heading, footing and margin in a suitable way. If I had to redo the workplace Memo assessment I make it a lengthy challenging assignment since it required little research time, information and effort. The Excel worksheet
At 2:15, I gave a tour to a group of students from Bryan Elementary explaining the purpose of our traffic operation center and used this time to help grow the next generation of engineers and professionals. In this role, I became the Gatekeeper that helped to build our future generation of students by sharing information and expectations previously unknown to the students by accomplishing the manifest function of teaching and learning. I feel a little worse for the wear, and beginning to tire leaving me with some very unpleasant pains in my
Each year the school’s mission and goals needs to revisit and a plan of action needs to be executed in order to effectively manage and improve educational programs. When asked about new teachers and veteran teachers, the principal expressed that she is very supportive of mentoring new and veteran teachers. I think each new
