If you look up the definition of weeds, Penn State Extension would give you many different meanings behind the word, such as, “a plant out of place and not intentionally sown, a plant growing where it is not wanted,” and many more. No matter what definition was used, weeds are plants none the less. No matter how bad they might be for others growing with them or how different they may be, they are still plants amongst the flowers and the trees. People, in some aspect, are the exact same way. There are good people, and those who choose to cause harm. In the end, we are all are human though. What that means is that we all have a chance of meeting others and gaining friendships from this. It is important to get to know someone before forming a …show more content…
But, a smile can make all the change. A compliment can be the difference between life and death. People these days are so good at hiding everything, so if you ask them about their day, It is a good conversation starter and it is a good way to let them know that you care. even a small gesture such as helping them with groceries or lending a dollar or two can show them that people out there are good, and do care. I had an instance back when I was a freshman. I was having a hard day because of a great a teacher gave me on a homework assignment and slouched around the entire school day. as I was at my locker grabbing my jacket and my books, a boy walked up to me and begin a conversation. he was a former best friend of mine and we had not talked for over 2 years. even though we only spoke about three sentences, I had a smile on my face the entire way home and I told everybody about what happened. so that same experience enjoy that I felt can be shared amongst many. I am sure he was not aware of the way he made me feel but nobody ever is. Your goal should not be to make somebody happy for something in exchange, your goal should to be to make people happy just because it is genuinely a nice thing to do and you can hope to make a new friend out of it. plus, nothing is the same as the joy of making somebody's
Many historians think about how Pennsylvania had a big impact on the United States that we call home today.Pennsylvania was one of the first thirteen colonies which also means it was one of the first states to come up with laws. The reason Pennsylvania had such a big effect on the United States history is that our ancestors made fairly good decisions but they also made bad decisions. When William Penn founded Pennsylvania in 1681 on what was known as the Quaker religion. When people look at the history Pennsylvania they see the good things our ancestors chose to do when it came to setting up the thirteen colonies, but what most people overlook is the bad things they chose to do like how they slaughtered thousands of Indians at one time.So with
Since its establishing in 1837, Muskingum has been a group of learners - individuals gaining from and with other individuals. Muskingum's main goal is to teach the "entire individual" - mentally, profoundly, socially and physically - and it does as such by meeting understudies where they are on the instructive continuum, and by helping these understudies to advance to their most extreme potential.

While attending Liberty Univeristy, I started out as a Business Major, but after a few accounting classes I decided to be an Accountant. Not only did I find a career path at Liberty, but I also found my life's mate. We have been married for 34 year and our proudest accomplishment in life are our three children. Nathan, recently married and lives in Wisconsin. Both are clinical pharmacists in the hospital setting. Nathan published his first article for the Pharmacy Journal which started sibling riviary. Lauren, is the Production Manager for the White House Historical Association and could't wait to tell her brother that she published two articles. We also visited the White House on several occasions. Our youngest,
At Brewton-Parker College, the campuses community is quite small. I cannot decide if it is a good thing that everyone knows each other. Because the school’s population is not quite as high as a big university, everyone knows everyone’s business. No matter what someone does, good or bad, it gets out, but for me the size in beneficial. The less people there are, the less chance I have of getting distracted. I love how small the classes are, too, because my teachers actually knows who I am. Also, when I need help with what we’re learning or I just have a simple question, I can easily ask my teacher, and he or she can help me better understand what is going on. The teachers here, at Brewton-Parker College, are kind and beyond willing to help me, no matter how long it takes; help is always there when I need it. For instance, the library has become my best friend. I like how I can go and have my own table to get a good amount of work done, and the books are such a useful resource for
“Give me an Army of West Point graduates and I'll win a battle... Give me a handful of Texas Aggies and I'll win a war.”- George S. Patton, Jr. West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) is a school with a strong sense of pride. WTAMU is affordable, has high acceptance ratings, teaches what I want to learn, and is not far from where I live. WTAMU is the best college for me to attend to become a computer engineer.
When we are young, we usually think that the only existing careers in the world are police officers, doctors, astronauts, etc. At least that is what I thought; I never knew what I wanted to be. I always changed my mind every time they asked, but now I am in high school, and I have a concrete answer. I want to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist, and in order to achieve my goal, I need to finish my bachelor’s and transfer to a college that offers a PT program. Texas State University is one of the 12 universities in Texas that offers a graduate physical therapy program. This is what my research paper will be consisting of, information about Texas State University, the university I wish to attend, after I finish my

As a military wife one of my greatest duties is to support my husband while he supports our nation. That duty has led to our family having to relocate and change many aspects of our lives including which school I attend. I am thankful that that obligation is now making it possible for me to potentially attend The George Washington University. While transferring midway through a degree certainly is not ideal I do feel like this is a remarkable opportunity that I am eager to embrace. I cannot help but feel as if my journey in higher education is finally getting where it was supposed to be all along. As a teenager, I envisioned life at my age and it never involved four children and a halfway complete English degree. I had planned to attend the university in my hometown and then, after four perfect years of course, become a wonderful high school English teacher just doing what I loved every day.

Weed is an everyday term used in a variety of senses, usually to describe a plant considered undesirable within a certain context. The word commonly applied to unwanted plants in human-controlled settings, such as farm fields, gardens, lawns, and parks carries no botanical classification value, since a plant that is a weed in one context is not a weed when growing where it is wanted. Indeed, a number of plants that many consider weeds are often intentionally grown in gardens and other cultivated settings. Less commonly, the term is applied to any plant that grows and reproduces aggressively outside its native habitat. The term is occasionally used to broadly describe species outside the plant kingdom that can live in diverse environments and
