The blank paper stared up at Penny. The whiteness was almost blinding. She picked up her small pencil and scratched it along the paper. Chhhh. It made a small curved line. It was Thin, Black and lonely. Well that's a little sad. Penny thought as she realized that that was the only line on the paper. “Nickole!” She said. Penny and her twin sister Nickole were upstairs in their bedroom working on their math homework. Their papers were sprawled all over the bright white carpet. Pennys bed was on the left side of the room, where as Nickoles bed was on the right side. Penny had multi-colored polka dot bed spread, with tons of colorful pillows. Nickole had a yellow and green striped bed spread with two pillows. The seafoam paint on the walls was the only color they could agree on that matched. Penny had wanted to do black because it would make her bed pop with color. Nickole had said that would be to dark and that they should do flowered wallpaper. Penny agreed as long as they could have black flowers. However the girls dad didn't want to go through the trouble of putting up wallpaper. …show more content…

She was twirling her pencil in her hand with a smug grin showing off the neon green braces. “ I got 1 point Thr- Wait! You're stealing my answers!” Nickole said as she suddenly realized what she had been doing. She put a hand over her mouth and her eyes got wide. Then she burst out laughing. “ It to hard!” Penny said, flopping down on the soft white carpet. She ran her hands across the tips of the carpet with a face full of disappointment. Nickole always helped her. “ Your a cheater!” Nickole said, as she pointed a finger at Penny. “You're only to problem three?” Nickole asked through
