People Have The Most Power In The Constitution

There are many debates concerning which branch of government is more powerful. I honestly thought the executive branch was the least powerful of all three, but James Wilson lists a lot of reasons to think otherwise. The argument that the President and the Executive branch is the most powerful is still up in the air, but there are three strong reasons why the President and Executive branch is the most powerful at the moment.

Finally, another reason why i think the executive branch is the most powerful is because it is the most responsible branch. I say this because the executive branch is headed by the president who is the leader of our country.We know that the Republicans in Congress might be able to get enough votes to get rid of Obamacare. However with President Trump in the White House and able to veto laws, there is no way such a law could ever be passed.This branch is the one that controls the votes and so on.This branch also makes sure that all laws are obeyed, and that is a big role in the constitution.

The President has a limited amount of powers but two of the strongest powers, in my opinion are; inherent powers and the power to veto.

Tyranny is the absolute power held by one person or a group of people . The U.S Constitution guards against tyranny by including the separation of powers, checks and balances, and federalism.

The President influences the daily lives of all Americans. The position of the President has grown from a mere congressional figurehead who had no executive powers during the Articles of Confederation into the most powerful person on the planet (Martin). In 1789, when the Articles of Confederation were first ratified, the President’s powers were limited only to what the words of Article II of the Constitution stated and now the President has powers that are not even implied in the Constitution. As history shows, the President continues to grow in power, making it increasingly clear that while Congress and the Judicial Branch do a good job checking the power of the President, there is more that can be done in order to ensure that all branches of the government have the same amount of power.

Many people believe that the president of the United States has more power than any other government branch. However, this very far from the truth. In reality, all three branches of government have an equal amount of power. This is made so by checks and balances, the Constitution, and Judicial review.

As documented in Article II of The Constitution, the legislatures and lawmakers wanted to offer the world something unique; that of a leader whose powers originated from the people as opposed to the traditional powers that run down a specific lineage. The American constitution however, provides guidance as to the terms and conditions of the office for the president as they embrace modernization and the aspects of the nation. Over the years the powers have been ran by the Chief Executive. This was evident due to the exercise of power by several presidents, and as well as the roles played by Congress.

In the government, there are 3 different branches sharing equal powers to keep everything balanced. Yet, it seems as if the Legislative Branch has just a little more power than anyone really notices. The Legislative Branch has their own very special powers in their own branch that give them advantages, such as making laws. Also, they supervise things and join in decisions made by the Judicial Branch. The President, who is part of the Executive Branch seems to be the most powerful in the U.S., but is he? We may think we know that the power is separated into 3 parts and everything is equal, after all that is what we learn. Even so, if you take a good look at the Constitution, it really isn’t. The Legislative Branch appears to be the one with the dominance over the others.

The people have the most power in the constitution Because they can vote and choose their leaders and Have the opportunity to protest freely unlike other countries like north korea and cuba.God has given all people equal rights when born.

When it comes to the topic of government power most of us can agree that having a government is a good idea. Where this argument usually ends, however, is on the question of the way government’s powers are delegated. Whereas some are convinced that the means of the delegation are just fine the way they are. Others maintain he idea that the federal level of government has too much power in their hands. I believe that the means of delegation are just fine as they are. Although it is necessary that the federal government back the state government, I think that the state government should be the ultimate decision maker in their state.

Lastly, I believe popular sovereignty is important to our constitution because it protects the citizens from the government. As I stated before in the previous paragraph we can elect politicians to who may represent our similar ideas. This will hopefully protect us from the government because that person we elected should share our same ideas and keep the government from abusing its power. Another way popular sovereignty protects us from the government is that political leaders are also subject to law, not just the people. As the people if we see the president breaking the law while in office our congress (which is elected by the people) can vote to impeach him or her. I personally think the ability to impeach our president is very important because it can keep them from becoming a tyrannical leader and protects the citizens from his or her possible corruption.

The basic premise of laws in America is known as the Constitution. It’s a social contract between the people and the federal government, in which it expresses core values that we govern ourselves by. Composed by some of the founding fathers James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, etc. The Constitution was established to regulate our nation’s frontier issues. It sets forth the foundation of the national government. We the people of this great country have a civic duty to comprehend and accept the U. S. Constitution. In which it acts as the source for the Federal Government, and is the primary law of the land.

The president or the government should have all the power. If the president or governor had all of the power they would become a dictator ,so far all the dictators have killed millions. They can make you do stuff you don't want to do against your will. The governor or president can also take anything that you own without your permission.
