As I stated earlier, I truly agree with this assessment of placing me in the category of INTJ. I even agree with what it has described as potential “growth opportunities”. Many of these I have acknowledged as gaps in my development and have begun working on them already. The Jung Typology Test revealed my personality type to be an INTJ personality. This reaffirms other assessments taken previously. I found the INTJ assessments provided as support material for this assignment to be highly accurate. My personality is a major part of how I relate to people, whether it be my family, friends, or co-workers. My introversion, once thought of as a weakness, has been embraced recently.

The Kiersey Temperament Sorter assigned me the personality type ENFJ. The letters stand for Extrovert, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging. After my research, I have found out some broad statements about ENFJs. Scholars describe ENFJs as natural leaders. ENFJs are full of passion and charisma, naturally attracting and inspiring people. Surprisingly, ENFJ forms only around two percent of the population. Some scholars describe this two percent simply as Protagonists. According to the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), I am an ISTJ personality this means that I am an Introvert, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging person. ISTJ are very faithful, loyal and dependable. We are also reserved people who are interested in a secure and quiet life. ISTJ’s place importance in being honesty and can be trusted to do the right thing for their families and friends. There are some weaknesses to being an ISTJ personality we are stubborn, insensitive, and judgmental. This test is amazing it really nailed my personality.

Amari looked at her strengths, it stated, “ An ISTJ has a stick to it attitude… value for social structure… respect for rules and orders… their desire to execute known systems against concrete facts.” She then turned the page to learn about what they assume as an ISTJ’s weaknesses. Persons with an opposite profile to those of ENTJ are the ISFPs . That is Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving. These personality types like my friend Jasper are very much in touch with reality and are less involved in fantasy. They are quiet, friendly, sensitive and kind. (Briggs n.d). A major difference in class for a Person like Jasper in comparison to ENTJ character types is that, while the ENTJs enjoy learning and continuously explore new things the ISFPs get easily bored are often likely to drop out of school. The logistic personality type, also known as ISTJ, is one of the most common among the population. Roughly 13% of the population is classified as a logician. Those whom have this personality trait emphasize on integrity, practical logic, and dedication. Once they set their mind on a goal, they do not stop unless it has been achieved. Due to the determined mindset, they prefer working alone or being in authority. Every task that they take on is completed with very close attention to detail and accuracy. INTJs are very strategic and smart, their self-confidence is very high and they are like a Jack-of-All-Trades. They don’t believe in spirits or spiritual powers, so you may or may not like them, even then, they aren’t very good when romance is involved. INTJs are very loyal, but they are independent, they can be arrogant and judgemental at times. Along with being open minded, INTJs are also very quick when it comes to quick thinking, and organizing. They have very high College GPA and they have a high income with their jobs, they are very reserved and can be serious at times, but they are very systematic. The INFJ personality is known to be the world rarest personality type and often misunderstood. This type stand for a percentage of less than 2% of the overall world population according to Holm (2009), the majority of that percentage being female and some famous INFJ that can be named are Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and Mother Teresa. My INFJ in academic and business milieu: from the past week assignment, my preferred four letters chosen base on the instructions received from Myers-Briggs type indicator were INFJ, which stands for Introverting, iNtuiting, Feeling and Judging. For this week assignment I was very surprise after taking the Jungian test to discover that my personality type fours letter were confirmed to be the same INFJ. Having my conformed INFJ profile means that in business milieu, my creativity and sense of responsibility come in first. Although as an INFJ I’m strongly introverted, I nevertheless highly care about my relationship with other individuals. At work I’m open to communication and always available when it comes to help colleagues to carry out on tasks or explaining work procedures. However, my personality type also implies that I can have sudden need for personal time away from others, which is my way to recharge and regain my energy. In an academic milieu, I’m more focus on setting and reaching my goals; I get motivated by planning in advance my studying weeks and do a lot of efforts to meet my assignment deadlines. In the ISFJ personality the letter “I” represented me being an introvert. Introverts tend to be more closed in and often think about things before acting on them. Introverts would choose reading a book over hanging out with friends. Introverts, like myself, prefer alone time more often than others. I show this common characteristic very often. A lot of my family and friends often worry that I am too introverted and should get out more. In my career, I have always enjoyed one on one task versus group assignments. I am an INTP and I have a lot of strengths. INTPs view the world as a massive machine and how all of its parts are related. Very accepting of different ideas, as long as they are supported by facts and logic. When a new idea interests an INTP, they get very enthusiastic – we are a shy personality type, but if somebody else shares an interest, we get eager to debate about it. We believe that the truth is the most crucial component and INTPs trust that to be welcomed and shared.

Based on the personality profile I completed in class my personality type is ISTJ, Introverted Sensing Thinking Judging. According to various sources on personality types ISTJ's are often referred to as "Inspectors". I agree with a lot of what I have read about my personality type. ISTJ's often give the initial impression of being aloof and perhaps somewhat cold. This is perhaps one of the truest statements about me that I have seen. Seeking clarity in everything, therefore driven to build knowledge. Intelligence and the ability to apply logic to theories to find solutions is highly valued. The natural drive to turn theories into concrete understanding may turn into a feeling of personal responsibility to solve theoretical problems, and help society move towards a higher understanding (Portrait of an INTP. 2012.). “INTPs are pensive, analytical folks. Succeeding in academics can be affected greatly by your personality. Being an ISTJ and having sensing and judging as my two main personality traits certainly has both its up and downs. Ever since I was a child, I have always been responsible, orderly, and statistical, and as time passed, these traits become a natural habit. I see this as a strength since it had helped me significantly in my studies, but some of these traits also restrict my creativity and often makes it difficult for me to look outside the box.
