PepsiCo's Current Data Since 1965, PepsiCo has become one of the premiere soft drink and snack makers. What has made the company so successful over the years is management's ability to be able to: add brands that will increase market share and improve the bottom line results. This has helped the company to become one of the largest food and beverage distributors with operations around the globe. To fully understand the organization and their business model requires examining various pieces of current data. This will be accomplished by looking at: the operating facilities / number of customers / geography and human resource information. Together, these different elements will offer the greatest insights as to how PepsiCo is able to meet the demand of customers in a changing marketplace. (Penzkofer, 2007) Operating Facilities, Number of Customers, Geography Served PepsiCo has total of 152 operating facilities around the world. In many cases, the bottling and distribution will be conducted through subsidiary known as the PepsiCo Bottling Group. They will handle this role in locations such as: the United States, Canada, Europe and Russia. The total number of customers that the company has is approximately 3 billion retail consumers. However, the locations that they are selling their product directly to are 103 thousand retailers. The areas that are served by the company include: North America, Central / South America, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Africa. The
