Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples…”These powerful words to the 12 disciples and all believers are to be center around the local church (The Body of Christ). In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus tells his disciples “to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”. Since considered a disciple the author believes it is wise to obey this command. In following his church, vision of “Reaching those separated from God and making them devoted Christ followers.” The author intends to develop a group of followers from the local community, then, move outward to other towns, with the intent to make disciples for Jesus Christ. It should be noted that 1No one can strategize, vision cast, team build, systematize and administrate, be a peacemaker, assess, pastor, train, educate, and so on all by himself.
First and far most, the author will start with his family, for without his family alongside him, it is very difficult to make disciples of others. 2“Moses commanded us to impress God’s love and His commandments upon our children, both physical and spiritual. “Talk about them [referring to the laws, the commands, and the decrees of the Lord] when you sit at home and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you get up.” From personally failing this part of his life as a father, felt inadequate to be a follower of Jesus.
